Our dog Lucy got quilled and VCA was recommended by 1 of the many vets we had reached out to for help. We made the 2hr drive. Though VCA was unable to help Lucy due to time, they still were so kind and professional. They sent us to Cornell and Lucy is quill free and her happy loving self today. I would recommend VCA just by the compassion and professionalism we were greeted with. Thank You VCA for helping us get Lucy the help she needed ❤️

Pathetic excuse of a place for business. Save your money. I’ll tell you why. My dog lost his coordination in his rear end earlier this week. They told me he’s essentially becoming paralyzed and that it could be an array of things. They told me he couldn’t be given a proper neurology test due to him “being blind” they also never offered blood work. I pushed for meds for him and went and got a second opinion. Well second opinion- he got a neurology test done, was able to pin point where his issue lays is his spine, got blood work to make sure the meds colonial gave me would be fine for him to take. No blood work was done prior to make sure his meds could be even given to him. To add insult to injury they gave him much stronger dose than the neurologist would ever recommend. Essentially they didn’t give my dog any hope or insight of what happened then lied to my face about what was wrong with him. Do better. I’ll never be back with my animals. Oh and my “paralyzed dog” is walking today .

Absolutely the worst and most unprofessional veterinary clinic I have ever been to. Brought my cat in for a cut paw and they tried charging a ridiculous amount even after I said how much I could do. The vet was an extremely judgy and rude woman. She acted like I was a terrible person for not being able to afford an overpriced surgery. The receptionist Jasmine was the only person who addressed any of my concerns. She was the only person who seemed to actually care about what was going on. The people here do not deserve to work in a business requiring empathy. “Becca” was the emergency vet who saw him. If I were anyone reading these reviews I would pick any other clinic or make sure you have a different vet than I did. She’s extremely weird and lacking proper communication. I’ve had positive experiences here in the past but she tainted every single one of them with her attitude. When it came time to pay she was telling me it was $200 for part of it and I was told earlier it would be $180 she goes “Meh $180 $200 same difference”. She has an attitude where it’s obvious she does not care about you or your pet, she’s here for a sales pitch. If she was a doctor she would lose her license for ethical reasons, just because it’s a cat doesn’t mean it matters less. And at the end the receptionist wore gloves to handle my cash because she’s a “ germaphobe” which came across as extremely rude especially after the experience I had just had.

My dog had been suffering and her vet failed her. I told her vet that she was suffering and would need to be helped and their response was to see her in two and a half weeks. After watching her suffer and get worse, I called colonial. They were so unbelievably caring. They got us right in and took her right back to a room. They were so understanding and gave us all the time we needed with each other. They helped us get through a very traumatic moment.
