  I waited nearly 2 months for an appointment for my French Bulldog to get a much needed throat surgery. Apparently 10am is not 10am in animal clinic time because I waited until well after 11am until I just left out of frustration. You may as well say "Show up at 10 and we'll just hope for the best" because that's what it felt like. How is management not asking "How are we already an hour behind when we're only on the third hour of our workday?"? If we agree on an appointment for 10am, is it not your expectation that I be on time regardless of what other things I might have going on? If we agree on an appointment for 10am, IT IS MY EXPECTATION to be seen on time regardless of what other things you might have going on. If this is an unfair arrangement I suggest discontinuing appointments altogether and rely solely on a walk-in, sign in, and be helped in the order of arrival based on that list (obviously considering triage), otherwise you are not operating in good faith. I drove from an hour away to get a procedure done and I sat in the clinic lobby for over an hour without a single person communicating to me when we would be seen. I literally watched 5+ other non-emergency animals get called back before me, at least THREE of those arrived to the clinic AFTER I did. I'm at a loss with this experience. I would not recommend this place to ANYone who values their time because VCA clearly does not. I spent 3 hours and a quarter tank of gas on getting absolutely nothing done. This experience was a complete and utter disappointment and now I worry for my dog, who I do not know if he will ever get treatment now because this is the only clinic in the area that will do the procedure he needs. If I could give ZERO STARS, I most definitely would. Regardless of the reason, I could not, in good confidence, recommend this clinic for anyone who wants to get a vet visit in a timely manner. Please don't post your email address in your response suggesting we talk about it further. I've said what I had to say and I put in the public realm for a reason. Do what you will with the information provided. I understand that the Dr. may have been in the other room saving the life of someone else's animal family member and I genuinely appreciate that you're willing to do so with such enthusiasm. It really means the world to the lot of us. That fact does not lessen the value of my own time. Just rescheduled for Feb 24th - I'll be there, I just can't guarantee I'll be available at the scheduled time.

  Dr. Rrassnick's & his assistant were amazing. Both were always so friendly and kind towards my dog. Lucky went there for several years for multiple issues. They recommend treatments that made sense and were also honest about which treatments did not. It was always about the dog and not the business.

  My cat has had recent new medical issues and was doing well with VCA Colonials care. She became suddenly ill with projectile vomiting my husband called and from call to seeing the doctor was less than 2 hours even though the office was having computer issues. Dr. Butler the emergency doctor was amazing, kind, caring and professional. Explained testing and results, gave us options of care and answered our questions. The front desk staff and vet tech were all kind, caring and professional.

  They all need to be complimented. Gigi and I were very happy with all the staff we dealt with from the time we checked in, her hospital stay, people I spoke with on the phone, vet techs and veterinarians. When you come into emergency with your very ill pet remembering specific names is very difficult. From the time I called to bring my dog into emergency services to the time I bright her home two days later I always felt at ease mostly due to being informed about my pups condition, having all my questions answered in a way I understood, and having staff reach out to me to give me updates.
