Bestbuy counter Service was slow at the register (point of sale).
- ATT employees at Bestbuy literally try to stop and hold me up and tell me about their fantastic offers on new iphones.
- When im in a hurry and trying to get to work, they literally stop me each time.
- When i tell them im in a hurry, i need to go, they gdt upset. Target does the same. (As of 08/09/2026, I havent seen them in Bestbuy).

I was able to save money versus making the purchase on Amazon. Additionally, I went to pick up my package at the Atlantic Terminal store and was met by Ju Lawes. He was an exceptional associate! Not only was he pleasant and engaging, he was patient and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain some aspects of the product I was buying and how to make the purchase work for me.
I returned a second time and was helped by an equally wonderful employee, Joshua RH.
I don't know about the rest of the store or the other employees, but those two made a stressful experience an absolute breeze!

So. UPDATE: I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me the right charger for free. Would this have been so hard for your store to figure out besides telling me "There's nothing that we can do"?
I purchased an open-box display laptop from this store eight days ago for $2200. What was not disclosed was that the charger included with it was not the correct charger required for the laptop to operate at full power. The display unit came with a 240W charger, while a new unit includes a 400W charger.
I called the store and explained the situation. I also made it clear that I live nearly two hours away in New Jersey and that returning to the store would be difficult. Despite that, I was told I had to bring the laptop in before they could discuss my options.
After making the two-hour trip, I was simply told there was nothing they could do because it had been a display model.
In other words, the incorrect charger was not disclosed at the time of purchase, I was required to travel back to the store for assistance, and then the store refused to offer any meaningful solution, credit, or help toward purchasing the correct charger.
I work in retail, so I understand that stores have their own discretion when resolving issues like this. This store had the opportunity to make the situation right and deliberately chose not to. And the laptop I purchased was $2200 mind you. Now I have to spend another $250 to get the right charger.
I would not recommend purchasing display models or open-box products from this location. Based on my experience, important issues may not be disclosed, and the store may waste your time rather than help resolve them.
Bestbuy of Atlantic Ave, thank you for wasting four hours of my day

I purchased a gas dryer in early July. Because of my schedule and their availability, I wasn't able to get it on the calendar until Saturday, July 25th. I was told that they could not install the dryer because my gas line was too short, and they provided info on what I needed to buy. Further, they told me that they could not disconnect the existing dryer because they could not leave the gas line disconnected. They also said I'd be able to reschedule the installation the next day, July 26.
I was not able to access any reinstallation resources until Tuesday, July 28th. The re-installation was (I thought) scheduled for Thursday, July 30th.
The services included were (1) installation and (2) haul away of old dryer.
I received a call earlier today that haulaway was scheduled for tomorrow. There was no mention of installation services.
I contacted their chat line multiple times, and was told multiple things, until I was dizzy with misinformation. I gave up trying, and called instead. I was told that the reason this was so screwed up is because they are using multiple systems. Of course, this is not my problem.
I reluctantly agreed to delay installation until Wednesday, August 5th, but was clear that installation had to come first, then haul away, and of course, the optimal solution was both the same day. A lovely agent told me we were all set.
I then received a text message saying that I needed to schedule installation (!!!!). I then went into another weird loop, and called yet again. I was assured that on Wednesday, August 5th, in the afternoon that installation would happen, and the device would be hauled away the same day.
I have spent hours and hours trying to get this scheduled, and this is clearly not the way a purchase should happen.
I am disputing (1) the purchase of the dryer + services and (2) initiation of the extended warranty, until the unit is installed, and the haul away I paid for is performed.
