- JNJasmine Alixandra NorthApr 30, 20261.0I bought a very expensive new MacBook Air through the store. I was promised 105$ return on my 7 year old computer. They sent me a box to return it in. I spent 200$ at a local Mac Store in a neighboring state to have the computer cleared to original factory specifications only because I had been promised 105$. I drove hours to have this done. I then am informed they are giving me 20$ for the computer because of a 'dent'. There was no dent when I sent it in. Which basically means they put the dent there themselves in order to not honor what they promised or it got a dent through Fedex. They sent me the box. The computer was a bit dirty. That I admit. I was told that they recycle the body and use what they can from the interior hardware so in fact a dent would be irrelevant. The dirt would also have been irrelevant. Moral of the story: Do not trust these people. They do not say what they mean or mean what they say.
