  ⭐️ Three hours of our day wasted—and completely avoidable. Before driving to the Apple Genius Bar, I spoke with Apple by phone and explained my son’s iPhone issue in detail. We arrived expecting help, only to be told nothing could be done until approximately 17 GB of storage was removed from the phone using a computer before it could even be updated and the necessary app installed. Why wasn’t I told this before we made the trip? Had this been explained during the phone call, we could have addressed it beforehand or avoided the trip entirely. Instead, we left with the same problem we arrived with. I understand technical limitations. I don’t understand poor communication—especially from a company built around technology and customer experience. Extremely disappointing.

  Not a very nice environment. So many staff members walking around with iPads, and yet somehow I still felt invisible. Friendly-enough attitudes but it feels all scripted.

  Apple products are so so overrated and their store is useless. Brought my Air in for bluetooth issues. I checked in, was told to sit and wait on the cubes for the genius bar and that it would only be 5 or ten minutes. I waited almost twenty minutes and during that time people who came in after me were helped. I left and made myself a promise - NO MORE APPLE JUNK in my home! One thing I noticed is that there were not a lot of people leaving with new stuff but mostly people bringing their old stuff in to be fixed!

  I came into this Apple Store for help with a severe duplicate contacts issue on my iPhone 17 involving thousands of duplicated contacts. The problem was clearly tied to iCloud syncing/account corruption because the duplicates persisted across everything we tried. The technician acknowledged the issue was unusual, attempted to use a third-party cleanup app, and the app repeatedly froze because of the volume of corrupted contacts. Instead of escalating the issue properly or connecting me with higher-level Apple Support, the solution I was given was a full factory reset of my phone. After erasing my device and going through the entire setup process again, the exact same 2,000+ duplicate contacts immediately returned because the problem was obviously tied to iCloud itself, not the phone. What frustrated me most was the lack of ownership and follow-through. After the reset failed, I was essentially told ‘that’s all we can do’ and left on my own with the same unresolved issue I walked in with. I understand not every technical problem has an instant fix, but wiping a customer’s phone without identifying the actual root cause and then offering no escalation path or meaningful next steps is unacceptable. I expected much better support, communication, and problem-solving from Apple. I should’ve never gotten this phone
