  I cannot say enough good things about the vets and the staff here. My parents moved to the Caughlin area back in 1996 and at the time I believe Feline Medical Center had opened that year. Since then, 30 years and several cats have been in their care over these many years, I have never been happier with the services. My mother bought Blackjack, Boy, Peter, Oscar, and Dude there and over the years I bought Miss Dazey, Gangsta, Spartacus, Zeus, Marky, Miss Sauce, Neehye, and my current boys Chang and Eng. We first started seeing Dr. Thompson ( God rest his kind soul) and then I saw a vet whose name I can't remember now but who graduated from the University of Kansas vet school several years ago, and now, Dr. Fleming and Dr. Kaitlin Smith. The cats never misbehaved or went crazy so it's clear that they're comfortable with the staff and that's really important to me. All of the cats my parents and I ever had were always comfortable in their presence. And there must be something about working there because two of the staff members, Kelly and Lindsay have been there for many years and they never age! Never :) Always positive vibes there and wonderful front desk service, veterinary care, and I will never bring my cats now or cats in the future anywhere else. I only wish they were open on Fridays and Saturdays like they used to be long ago.

  Amazing. My cat is normally super stressed on all outings ask me why he does not like leaving the house. Well, this visit was so stress free. Dr. Smith was great with him as were the technicians and front desk. It is a calming atmosphere, and he even ate a Churu treat I brought for him. He was overall not too stressed. All issues were taken care of with great explanations and thoroughness. I really appreciate them being there for my sensitive cat. Thank you!!!

  I was very impressed with the VCA and Dr Smith. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Dr Smith spent an hour with us and gave me so much information on my kitty's health. I would definitely recommend them.

  We had such a great experience here! From the moment we met Dr. Smith, it was clear she was knowledgeable, competent, and truly understood how to handle our anxious, visually impaired cat. Everyone went above and beyond to make him feel as comfortable as possible and approached his care with patience and intention. This is the exact kind of thoughtful, compassionate care we’ve been hoping for. We’re so grateful, thank you!

  I could not recommend them more! They are personable with you, eager to understand and caring about your cat (note even the personal note on the whiteboard in the photo). They are cat specialists and it shows in everything. Our doctor, Kaitlin Smith and all staff have far exceeded anything that I would expect. If you have a cat in the Reno area it is my opinion that you are doing both of you a disservice by going any place else. My eternal gratitude to Dr. Smith and all the staff for taking care of my child!
