  The gal that checked me and Bailey May out was amazing. We had a wonderful chat and she helped me with questions regarding care for my lil girl.

  We have been taking our dog to this clinic since he was 4 months old. We had a satisfactory experience even though this place over charges for service. We went there anyway because of its convenient location. We usually saw Dr. Pepper and liked her a lot. However she apparently left this clinic for some reason we don't know about. Last year in October we had the great misfortune to get an appointment with Dr. Darrell Dawsey. Our appointment was for a routine teeth cleaning for our small dog. However, during cleaning, our pet had to be intubated. When we brought him home that evening, he suddenly developed a massive cough and wouldn't stop coughing! We immediately knew it was related to the intubation used in the cleaning procedure by Dr. Dawsey because right before the appointment our dog's trachea ring never ever coughed like this! We made an appointment right away to have our dog checked out. Of course unprofessional and incompetent, Dr. Dawsey denied inadvertently puncturing our small dog's trachea. He cooked up every excuse under the sun to attribute his constant and relentless coughing to a common cold. When we told him it is very suspicious that this massive cough would develop right after his intubation procedure he wrote up a report which he worded to say that our dog's trachea ring had given way and collapsed resulting in a cough and blah blah blah. It was plain to see that this doctor will never acknowledge that he maybe is wrong and instead blamed everything that our dog suddenly experienced to "old age". Please we beg you people, who are reading this that this is a very unreliable, incompetent and unprofessional doctor and the clinic has rude staff: Do not take your pet to this place. We are talking from many years of experience where we tolerated this place until we had the great BAD LUCK of having this horrible life changing encounter with Dawsey. This place did everything not to take responsibility until at the very end we went to another animal hospital where we got the care our dog needed. It is with great saddened I have to say that less than one year after the botched service by incompetent Dr Dawsey we had to put our helper down today due to collapsing trachea and complications stemming from it. VCA Hualapai is all about making money, having a shiny exterior to entice clients but their doctors SUCK big time and this is a place that denies responsibility. You would be better off avoiding this club altogether!

  I brought my pooch in today. Poor thing has had some skin issues that I wanted to talk to doc about and get taken care of. I walked into a very clean facility. I was greeted with a warm smile from Sierra at check in who brought us into the patient room immediately. The vet assistant, Emily, entered the room very cheerful asked a few questions then went to grab the doctor. I didn't wait long at all before doc, Michelle Domingues, walked in. She was wonderful. She was happy, very knowledgeable/educated, and came up with a plan of care that's affordable. Her and Emily both treated my pooch like family. I checked out with Hallie, who is such a sweetheart. Great office! I'm so happy that we still have people like this in the world. Overall experience was awesome! Thank you for everything

  I brought my dog in for the complimentary exam that was included with her adoption — which the staff called and rushed for me to schedule within a day of us leaving the shelter. While Shelley at the front desk was fantastic and welcoming, the rest of the visit felt unsupportive and like a push for add-ons. My primary concern was checking for potential fleas, but the vet didn't even examine her coat before handing over the included treatment. He also tried to tell me I was overfeeding her, only to realize after reading the bag in front of him that I was feeding her the exact recommended amount. On top of that, they pushed a vaccine that costs twice as much here compared to other local clinics. I’m completely happy to invest in quality care, but the push for scheduling combined with the bedside manner during the visit made the whole thing feel like a money grab. I appreciate the gesture, but VCA is not the right fit for me. I will be looking for a primary vet who takes the time to actually examine my dog and build a real relationship.
