1/5 Stars Extremely disappointing experience at genius bar this location. I arrived early at around 4:00 PM for my scheduled 4:30 PM appointment regarding a known paint chipping issue with my Apple Watch Series 10. Instead of checking me in or assisting customers, multiple employees were standing in a group chatting, laughing, and completely ignoring me. When someone finally addressed me, they were rude, dismissive, and showed zero willingness to provide actual service. This location does not feel like an official Apple Store at all—the ~3-star rating makes total sense. Save your time and go to another store.

I went into the GSP Apple Store to purchase a MacAir 13 inch laptop. We were greeted by a woman who said “you’ve come to the right place” and then proceeded to say they were out of stock. She then was repeatedly interrupted by other sales reps and had side conversations with them while we were trying to ask questions. Basically she told us to go online and try to order it. When we asked questions about other options she responded by saying “ I was not hired for my technical expertise”. Not once did she offer to see if the laptop might be available in other Apple Stores or offer another solution. We ended up going to Best Buy where we were treated with respect and ended up purchasing a Mac Air there. The Apple Store was one of the WORST customer experiences I have ever had.

Absolutely. Since this is a public review, I’d make it strong but factual, focusing on exactly what happened and how you were treated. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Apple Store today. My wife and I were both waiting for assistance. She needed help getting her phone fixed, and I needed help activating my phone. Despite waiting our turn, both of us were skipped, while other customers were assisted. When I finally spoke up and asked why we were being skipped, instead of acknowledging the situation or apologizing, the employees ignored us and walked away. A man named Paul, who claimed to be the General Manager, then approached me in a confrontational manner, repeatedly asking, “How can I help you?” rather than first listening to what had happened or addressing the behavior of his employees. I left feeling disrespected, ignored, and discriminated against. I cannot say what anyone’s intentions were, but I can say clearly that the way my wife and I were treated made us feel singled out and unwelcome. If Paul is in fact the General Manager, I am extremely disappointed with how he handled the situation. A manager should de-escalate a problem, listen to the customer, and address legitimate concerns—not make an already bad experience worse. I have always expected Apple to have a much higher standard of customer service. This experience was completely unacceptable, and I hope Apple takes this complaint seriously and reviews what happened.

This was easily the worst experience I’ve ever had at an Apple Store, and I ultimately walked out without receiving any assistance at all. I came to the Apple Store at Garden State Plaza for help with my EarPods, the wired Apple headphones. I spoke with two different female employees, neither of whom was helpful in actually getting my issue addressed. I was directed from one person to another and eventually told to wait at a table for someone to assist me. I waited over 20 minutes at that table, and no one ever came to help me. What made the situation even more frustrating was seeing multiple employees who appeared to be free, standing around talking and joking with each other, while I was sitting there waiting to simply be acknowledged. No one came over to check on me, explain the delay, or even ask what I needed. And to be clear, I wasn’t waiting over 20 minutes to actually have my EarPods looked at or replaced. I was waiting over 20 minutes just for someone to set up an appointment so that I could come back later and speak with someone who could actually solve my problem. That is an unnecessarily long and inefficient process. If customers have to wait this long just to schedule an appointment, Apple might as well install a self-service kiosk where customers can check in and schedule appointments themselves. It would be significantly faster than being passed between employees, directed to a table, ignored for over 20 minutes, and then potentially being told to come back an hour later. I’ve had EarPods swapped out at other Apple Store locations and have never experienced this level of disorganization. I understand that stores get busy, and I have no problem waiting when employees are actively assisting other customers. What I do have a problem with is sitting there waiting while employees who appear to be available are talking and joking among themselves instead of checking on customers who have been waiting. After more than 20 minutes with no assistance, I finally got up and walked out. I came in looking for a simple solution and left feeling like my time and business did not matter. For a company that prides itself on simplicity, efficiency, and customer experience, this location provided the complete opposite. This was genuinely the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with Apple, and the experience was disappointing enough to make me reconsider whether I want to continue giving Apple my business.

Bad customer experience. Wanted to buy a watch for my son. All the employees seemed busy and uninterested. Asked one of them if anyone can help us and was told to wait. 15 minutes later she was surprised to see me again asking if anyone would help or if we should just keep waiting. After going back and forth she informed me that she is the only manager in the store and promised that someone would be there shortly. She then came over and struggled through getting the order correctly and then passed me over to another hostile employee with strong BO. Not coming back.
