  truly extraordinary staff. i took my childhood dog here after he displayed some concerning symptoms. was super nervous because he wasn’t up to date on vaccines and i really didn’t have any past medical records. i called prior and the receptionist relieved all of my fears. when i arrived everyone was welcoming. the tech that came in further relieved my anxiety and the DR was just as comforting. we ultimately had to put my baby down…and as sad and unexpected as it was, the ENTIRE staff was so supportive. being that it was our first exam, i didn’t have to pay for a consultation fee. i did pay extra for cremation, and a clay paw print. that’s all i was expecting. but when i came to pick the ashes up i was pleasantly surprised with a picture of his prints as well as his snout , the clay print, a few locks of fur, and a beautiful urn. overall, as devastating as it’s been losing my soul dog…everyone made the transition so smooth. thank you VCA for everything.

  My wife and I live in Manhattan and there are vets as close as a block away. But whenever we need medical attention for our cats or dog, we prefer to drive to the Shrewsbury Animal Hospital where we know our pets will get the best attention. Dr. Curtis Cianci is the best veterinarian I've ever met.
