This practice is a scam! I signed up for the free coupon for 1st visit, on Saturday evening at 6pm. At 7pm my phone rings with a rep trying to book an appt. I asked her a series questions about being upsold. She said we suggest fecal test and gave me a bunch dumb reasons as to why. I said don't call people at 7pm on a Saturday nite. This really turned me off with going here. I've had cats all of my life, and never had a vet practice call me to make an appt at 7pm Saturday.
Was very scared my kitten was sick but they helped ease my fears right away and helped my kittens issues!

Took my 7 week old puppy here for his 1st doctor’s appointment. Kyro Brixton enjoyed every minute of his appointment!! The staff was so attentive and kind. They explained everything into detail and made sure my daughter and I understood everything! What I truly appreciated was the doctor not leaving the room until she was sure all our questions were answered. You also get gifts during this 1st visit and one month of free pet insurance.
Tip: go online and get the coupon for the free exam for the 1st visit. It’s a $90 value!

Friendly staff, always easy to call on phone without waiting times. Feel like we get great quality care
From my experience, VCA is committed to collecting my personal info to use and share with other companies like google, meta, etc. They required me to provide email, phone, full name, address, etc. and to sign up for texts and advertisements in order to get a coupon for a free exam.
Instead of just offering it without having to disclose my info to advertisers…i would have to provide my info at the appt anyway so VCA would have it. But to get the coupon i would also have to agree to unwanted texts and sharing with 3rd parties. No thanks
