- ELEllen LabadessaMay 12, 20261.0I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Apple. I purchased the orange iPhone only 4 months ago, and the color has already faded significantly. I have owned many iPhones over the years in different colors, and this has never happened before. I also currently own a silver iPhone that I have had for a much longer time, and it still looks perfect. This clearly appears to be a manufacturing or material issue, not misuse. I have always taken good care of my devices, and a premium phone should not lose its original color after only a few months of normal use. What makes this even more frustrating is that the store refused to replace the phone or offer a fair solution. As a loyal Apple customer for many years, I expected much better customer service and product quality. I believe this situation is unfair, and customers should not be left responsible for what seems to be a factory defect.

Customer service was gracious and indicated the store had the product I wanted to purchase. Today, April 14, 2026, I went to this store and met with a sales rep named George. I explained what I wanted and George complied without trying to upgrade me to a different product. Since I was buying the phone outright and taking it back to my carrier for activation, George explained the difference in charging cables and was able to provide me with adaptive cables that would work on various equipment I use to charge my phone, especially in my car. Thank you for making my buying experience a positive one!
