The staff was absolutely incredible. I unfortunately live an hour from this emergency vet but they were the ONLY ones willing to even try to help my fur baby. They made every effort possible to save an animal that they have no experience working with as they don't specialize in exotics, and they helped make post-passing as easy as it could be. So compassionate, offered Care Credit so I could finance everything, and even sent us a card from all of the staff that really made us cry. 10/10, these people embody what it means to truly be an animal person.

Called early morning to check availability and was scheduled for 10:30am. We arrived, the receptionist explained the triage process and we sat and waited, and waited, and waited some more. After almost two hours (and the arrival of two other pets), I checked in with reception again asking about the wait and was informed they were short staffed and couldn’t provide any updates regarding wait time, stating only that there were a number of pets in front of us. Wishing there was better communication and transparency up front; maybe explaining more thoroughly what to expect (ie “We’re short staffed,” or “you’ll have at least an hour wait from this point,”), and checking in with those waiting for long periods (ie, “there are x more pets in front of yours now and it will be at least another hour from this point”), being open about their staffing shortage, and providing more updates for patients who are continually being pushed back in the triage line. Other than being unsatisfied with the lack of courtesy regarding my time, the staff members were friendly.

We have made multiple trips to CAVES over the years with our dogs for all the dog stuff; quills, eating things they shouldn’t eat, and sadly, a beloved dog with degenerative myelopathy. All the vets and all the staff have always been kind, caring, professional, and good humored. The diagnoses and treatment have been spot on and they go over anticipated charges before treatment. The waiting room is always clean and tidy and they will even offer humans a blanket in the middle of the night. Grateful to have this good care 40 minutes away.

I’ve been meaning to do this for a few months now but I get extremely emotional for multiple reasons including the pure heartfelt assistance and care but here goes, In Nov. 2024 I lost my pawed best friend of 18 years in the Concord location, I knew deep down he most likely would not be coming home with me, I honestly just couldn’t stand him suffering one more moment. This place this team was amazing as I had ran in with my sick pup in my arms had never been there before they didn’t care, their minds were right with my own, my innocent dog and his suffering . He did pass away days later at this location. Then 2/26 back with new puppy that literally eats everything even things that are not food swallowed multiple items, my pup was a little over a year and extremely innocent this location, this vet went above and beyond to help my little bestie who just doesn’t know any better. They saved his life and watched over him 24/7 responded to messages at 3 am or 5am on his care. There just aren’t words on what was done for me and Tk then Tyke from them. From saying goodbye peacefully to my first best friend of 18 years to saving my recent addition to my family and ensuring he was given the best chance at a new beginning with me I’m so grateful for each member of the team at the Concord nh location and I’ll never forget what was done to save an innocent animal who needed help and received just that at the most important moment in his life. It fills my heart with love and joy at the amount of care that was given. When your 4 legged friend is in pain that all you think about. It consumes you and makes it impossible to focus on anything else but that. Their lives are placed in our hands to protect them and it honestly eased my mind that the team was focused on the same, saving him when he needed it the most. He is my best friend and they were his protection at all costs when we both needed It. If your looking for a place for your pawed family member, I highly recommend. The director at this location is absolutely top notch and honestly you just have to see to believe. Five stars just doesn’t do this business justice if you ask me. My best friend my family member and my purpose to stay positive daily even when I don’t want to be, who is still able to be himself thanks to her mainly. I’m sure every business goes through their share of heartbreak with any loss of our 4-legged family members but After the shock and daily tasks had passed I was left in awe of the balance of care and professionalism We received from location… Absolutely Hands Down best vet I’ve ever dealt with.

I have had enough time to reflect and do my research. I am not leaving a review based on emotion but facts. This place is less a veterinary hospital than a boiler room call center. The mission is not helping or even caring for animals but to squeeze as much money as they can out of you. Initially they size you up for the squeeze and if you don't flinch, the price keeps going up and up. The will recommend the silliest diagnoses and procedure after procedure. Once they have hit your monetary limit, 10k, 15k, they start upselling overpriced goods and "medication" telling you without the garbage your animal will die. They will not write a prescription for the junk which you can buy for no more than half the price. In this place your love for your animal is a weekness to be exploited for money, and money is the only reason for these cruel and incompetent crowd to have gathered. There are much better options even in Concord veterinary urgent care service.
