Sand & Gravel
Lyman-Richey Sand and Gravel began as the Lyman Sand Company, which was established in 1884. In that year, the company started excavating sand from the Kaw River in Lawrence, KS, using a clamshell and delivering it by horse and wagon. In 1892, the company moved to Nebraska where it has been based ever since. Our expansion and innovation continue today. Our companies provide construction materials for projects in Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa, and Colorado with state-of-the-art production methods and delivery equipment.

- JGJahn GrandstaffApr 11, 20245.0Wanted to share great experience with Dispatchers and Loader operator in Fremont. Only needed a small trailer of sand for home project. I had no idea what I was doing and they talked me through the whole process and thanked me for the business. Even apologized they had to charge me the minimum fee, $25, I don't thing that could have paid for the loader to drive around the pile. Loader operator was extremely considerate and rolled sand in easy to not damage any of my equipment. Not at all what I would have expected. Only advice I would give is to be sure to call dispatch before you get out to the location.
