I've been shopping Best Buy since the "Sound Of Music" days in the early 90s. In this day of online shopping it is always refreshing to talk to someone and have verbal and physical interaction with the people and the product. In general, I'm of the opinion that customer service has improved across the board as a result of online shopping.
Best Buy has rolled with the punches for over 3 decades in our area and has outlived both rudimentary and esoteric sales of electronica in all shapes and sizes. There was a certain City of Circuits as well as a Shack of Radios and even the Fo Fum of Hi Fi to "name" just a few. 😊
If you've not been to Best Buy in a while, I highly recommend it. You will see that their game is elevated and ever-changing to satisfy the wants and meet the needs of the modern consumer. They are clinging tenaciously to the experience of a painless in-store experience.

Wanted to buy Xbox 360 games, Called the number to ask about 360 games, AI Started repeating TITANFALL over and over, Finally get connected to a human, Person tells me they can’t check stock of stores, Drove all the way to Best Buy to find out they don’t even sell them, For a company based in tech, it sucks at tech

Has always been a great store! We recently switched our service to ATT and it was actually a fun process! Rheanna and Eve felt like friends rather than people selling me stuff! The only reason for 4* is the lack of inventory. If you're thinking of new service go see my new friends at ATT!!

I recently bought an LG 5.1 surround sound system. When I took the items out of the box, it only had 2 of the 3 required power cords and didn't include the wire to link the 2 rear speakers. I thought, oh best buy will fix that for me. So I went into the Mid Rivers store, and they told me that they could not help me, but I could purchase that power cord for about $20. I thought, no way, that should have been included. So I went home and used their online chat to look into it. They told me that I should go into the store and they would provide the necessary cords or I could ship the item back to best buy and they would mail me a replacement of the same quality. I asked if they could just provide me a $20 gift card so I could go buy one myself and not wait 2 weeks to ship it back and forth, thinking it would also save them money on the shipping costs. They told me no, they cant offer partial refunds or gift cards in this situation. But they said the Mid Rivers store did have the same model and quality in stock and I could bring it there and they would exchange it for me. So I drove back to the store and talked to the same people who directed me to the home theater department. They then proceeded to tell me that they did not have that item in stock and I could drive to South County to get it. I was so mad. I will not drive 30 miles to make an exchange for items that should have been included in the first place. I left and called best buy support and they offered to take 10% off of my item cost. This was about $30. I was even madder than I was before because they told me that I couldn't get a partial refund or anything earlier. I accepted the discount and I still am contemplating returning the item altogether out of frustration. I took 4 hours to get me a discounted item that still doesn't work. I asked if they could escalate my issue to a supervisor and they said no. They said issues like this are handled internally and there would be no resolution for me.
This whole situation and series of events absolutely blew my mind. Please don't go to this store if you need any help.
