- SSSpooky SplendorSep 26, 20265.0I have been fighting most of my life to get out of rural Minnesota, so I could get better healthcare, and I finally was able to move to the area recently. I have extreme medical trauma, thinking about going to the doctor raises my blood pressure, pulse and will throw me into panic; I have been this way since my early 20's, dealing with a lot of medical neglect and quite seriously, near-death episodes due to medical neglect, as well as watching family.members die, due to medical negligence. I'm bringing this all up, because since moving here, and being chronically ill, I am at a urgent care more than I like to admit, but most of the doctors and nurses I have seen, are so compassionate and listen so well, it has made me so emotional to be able to see the opposite side of care, finally. I feel like Dr. Hasan and Dr. Taverez alone have started a healing journey when it comes to medical anxiety for me. Their nurses, phlebotomists, almost all I have met have made me feel safe, visible, and cared for in a way that I could never imagine. It is hard to navigate the healthcare system, even harder if you're a fat person (other populations as well) and I haven't felt judged here, which is a first in my 41 years. I'm grateful for this clinic and these hard working, beautiful humans who work here and care for the community.

Dr. Eathan minimized my symptoms as I’m sitting there dripping in sweat little to no voice. But because I was negative for strep and no fever I just need to continue taking over the counter medication which I have been since symptoms started. He wrote in my chart that I just started otc yesterday. I told him I came in because the symptoms are progressing. I came in with so much pain and was told to basically ride it out. Never will returning
