  My dog has been seeing Dr. Richardson for a few years now and I can confidently say there is no one else I would trust more. Dr. Richardson is an extremely knowledgeable and skilled vet. She takes the absolute best care of my dog and is always so kind and patient. She is a real life superhero! The front desk staff and vet techs are also amazing and always go out of their way to help out! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Richardson and the VCA staff!

  I went there because of the free checkup they advertise for new customers. The staff were very kind, professional, and welcoming throughout my visit, and I truly appreciated the way I was treated. Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing. Although the customer service was excellent, I felt that I was clearly overcharged. They constantly tried to sell additional services and add extra charges whenever possible. By the time I realized what had happened, I had been charged far more than I expected. If you take your pet there, be prepared. It gave me the impression that the staff may be incentivized through commissions and trained to maximize sales. Whether that is actually the case or not, that is certainly how the experience felt to me. I find this especially disappointing because this is about the health of a family member, not just another retail transaction. Perhaps this approach works well for customers with pet insurance, where additional tests and treatments are more likely to be covered. In my case, however, activating pet insurance for this situation simply did not make sense, and I felt pressured into paying for services that I did not consider necessary. I left feeling disappointed and somewhat misled. I would recommend going there only if you are prepared to question every recommendation and clearly understand the cost of every service before agreeing to anything.

  I have always struggled to get my dog to sit still long enough to clip her nails myself. A friend recommended these guys to me and now my dog has had her nails at an acceptable level ever since!

  This is the first time that it felt like a vet actually cared about finding out what was wrong with my cat, and it was a free first visit. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby!
