  I brought my cat in here very sick and the vet managed to diagnose him with something that is very hard to diagnose until it’s such a late stage. My kitty cat is thriving alive and well 15 months later thank you to this clinic. You guys were absolute rock stars, and you took the time to be thorough in his exam and testing.

  I had my dog Rocky in for his wellness exam today 2/10/26. Was first greeted at the front desk by a very welcoming young man (sorry did not get his name) who roomed me. Next Tech Tara came in and was so nice and comforting for Rocky. We talked over any specific issues I was concerned about and what meds needed to be ordered. Next, Dr Boschee came in and after making Rocky comfortable did the exam with calming and soothing voice that made the exam as comfortable as possible for him. Blood draw and vaccination was quick. Dr Boschee inquired about a previous surgery that Rocky had. All went well with the help of peanut butter on a plate! Although VCA may not be the least expensive veterinary care, I definitely feel the value and sincere wanting to care for Rocky worth it. VCA has been Rocky's clinic since we rescued him in 2014. Thank you to Tara and Dr Boschee for making Rocky as comfortable as possible for his visit!

  I would give a 0 if I could!! We had an appointment for our dog to just get a rabbis shot. We live 2 min away and due to the weather my husband called at 3:02 our appointment was at 3pm. He let them know he's 1 min away due to terrible icy roads. The extremely rude receptionist told him "NO!! WE DONT DO LATE APPOINTMENTS, YOU NEED TO RESCHEDULE!!!" This was our first appointment there and will be our last attempt!! I work in the medical field and even for in office procedures we allow 10min grace time. They obviously wanted to leave for the day. I will never go there now woulf refer anyone there and will be happy to share our scrappy experience with anyone looking for a vet. The only good thing that came out of this is knowing atleast they didnt have the chance to harm our Burnaby! I wouldn't take a rat there let alone our Kodabear. They only want the money they could care less about customer service!!. I can only imagine how they treat our pets.

  I had an appointment today to get vaccinations for my dog and when I dropped her off, I told them she had started shaking her head and I wanted her ears checked at the same time. They called me back to say they wouldn’t have a doctor check her ears and that I needed to schedule a separate appointment in a week for that. I am very disappointed in the service today. I have been going here for years for vet care, Dr. Ambrose was incredibly supportive when my Pearl died last Christmas. I hate to see such deterioration in service.
