I’m extremely disappointed with my recent visit to this Apple Store. all greedy techs I brought my phone in specifically for a repair, but instead of helping me, the technician Ricardo was incredibly pushy about a trade-in. He was more interested in hitting a sales quota than actually fixing my device. I came for a solution, not a sales pitch.why do you decide what someone wants to do with their phone? Mind you the Phone is on apple care i was paying for nothing.

What a disappointment. I went to buy an iPhone 17 pro max for my daughter and managed to get kicked out by a troll wearing a green shirt with a matching green World of Warcraft tattoo. As an old white man, with a strong tech background I still felt it wise to take my twenty year old daughter along incase I needed translation services (or tattoo identification). I asked a question about Apple throttling older devices and obviously hit a nerve. Even though the troll couldn't see the pixel pro in my shirt pocket, he detected an apostate as I questioned his dogmatic response. Several times I was instructed not to interrupt the lesson and even though I don't think he would know a buck-boost converter from a usb-c connector my queries infuriated him. He told me that there was no point in continuing and asked me to leave. The cherry on the cake was his admission that he has been doing this to people for TWELVE years. I didn't want my daughter to suffer for my tech sins, so I went to the MOA store and they allowed me to contribute more than a grand to the cause. It's a strange old world.

I recently had my phone repaired by Apple (camera service), and the experience has been disappointing. When I got my phone back, I noticed that the two screws at the bottom were not fully tightened. I returned to the store, and they fixed it within a few minutes. However, shortly after that, my phone was exposed to a small amount of water, and I immediately noticed water inside both the front and rear cameras. This raised a serious concern for me. I was never informed that the phone’s water resistance or sealing might be compromised after the repair. Had I known, I would have taken extra precautions to keep the device away from any moisture. When I contacted Apple support about the issue, I was told I would need to pay around $730 for a repair or get a new phone, which was surprising given that this occurred right after a service visit. I understand that repairs can sometimes affect a device’s water resistance, but I believe this should be clearly communicated to customers. Additionally, basic reassembly—like properly securing screws and ensuring seals are intact—should be part of the service quality. Overall, I’m disappointed with both the repair outcome and the lack of transparency, and I hope Apple improves both its repair checks and customer communication in situations like this.
