This is the WORST Apple Store. They are arrogant and insulting. They don't listen to your needs. They just throw something at you. I needed a new keyboard. I had paid for insurance on the old one, but it seems after speaking on the phone with Apple support that insurance was dropped without my knowledge. The aggravated salesperson at the store "explained" to me that if i owned a car and had insurance on it, that i would think i automatically got insurance on a new car. And this was after waiting half an hour to buy a keyboard. The experience was demoralizing and i will NEVER go back there.

This has been the most frustrating repair experience I've ever had in my 26 years of being an Apple user. We brought in an iPhone 13 Pro for repair. The repair was completed within the time estimated which is great. But when we went to pick up the phone, the young woman employee who brought it out gave us a lot of incorrect information. First, when the phone powered up it was not connecting to the cellular network. She told us that we had an e-sim and would have to go to a T-Mobile store. I explained that the phone had a physical SIM card when we dropped it off. She said that it didn't. I conveyed that I am 100% positive we had a SIM card so she said she would go in the back and check. Whaddya know. She emerged with the SIM card that they forgot to put back in the phone. We popped it in and it worked. I asked if they repaired this phone or replaced it. She told me they repaired it and it was the same phone. So everything like AppleCare+ will continue to work as before. I was wary because it was fully wiped to factory settings. But I figured we made an iCloud backup so it wasn't a big deal. I get home and start to set up the phone. I was able to restore the backup and get the replacement phone working. But the serial number had changed. The AppleCare+ was still connected to the previous phone. It did not transfer over as we were told. So I contact Apple Support and explain that the serial number changed after this repair & requested they update Apple's system. But I learned that isn't easy to do. I had to schedule a callback for the next day. So I get my callback and explain everything to the agent. After they spent time looking at the situation they discovered that the woman at the Apple Store was wrong. Again. It was not a repair. They replaced it with a whole new device (as I suspected). Frustratingly, this was not documented correctly by the Edina Apple Store. I don't know if this is the fault of the technician who did the repair or the woman who brought out the phone. I am now on my third phone call with Apple Support trying to get this figured out. I didn't plan on spending half my workday on the phone with Apple. Actually, they just told me I have to scheduled a 4th call with another team. So I am doing that now. In closing...everyone makes mistakes. I totally get it. But it is really irritating that the young woman was so smug and dismissive of my concerns every step of the way. Yet she was wrong every step of the way. Honestly, the only reason I am writing this complaint is because of her attitude. If you want to be smug, first try learning what you're talking about.

I've been to this store twice in the last 2 months, once for the Genius Bar, once to recycle old Macs. The first time, the individual didn't want to help me. He spoke only in technical terms, and acted as if my request to have 2 users on one computer (moving data from a 2nd Mac to the first) was too complicated. He'd only talk in theory and didn't help me enough where I could take the next steps to meet my goals. The second visit was to recycle 2 older Macs. Upon entering the store, I was told to stand by a table and wait. Some staff members became available, but ignored me even though they noticed me. A young female staff member finally asked if I'd been helped, but all the others--not so much. I've not had this issue at the Ridgedale store when two people came up to me immediately to offer assistance even while the store was exceptionally busy.
