  No means no. I do not want to scan your QR code and download an app and be rushed into agreeing to share my data with you just to pick up an order I already paid for online. Stop telling me about how good Apple's privacy policies are. I don't care that you're "getting it from both ends," which after reading the Apple Employee subreddit makes it seem like you're being pushed by management to do this. To management: this is scam behavior and it will make people hate you and your store and your company and give you well-deserved bad reviews. To customers: "No." is a full sentence.

  I went in twice last week to pre-order the new Mac mini, and both times they were not helpful. first lady with short grey hair kept asking me questions about why I needed one, and I simply told her I was there to trade in my old Mac mini. I didn't mind the small talk, but she walked away when I needed her help at checkout, so I just left. The second time I went in, and again at checkout, I asked for help applying my student discount and was told I couldn't use it twice since I had already applied it to my MacBook? I left and decided to pre-order at home, which I should have done from the start if I knew it was going to be a problem in-store. According to the Apple website, students can use the discount twice. Anyway, Apple employees need to be better at knowing their job because they almost had me convinced.

  I had a Genius Bar appointment but still waited over 40 minutes to be helped. I understand small delays happen, but this makes me question the point of making an appointment. Very frustrating experience.

  I have attended two Mac classes. The first presenter covered the material too efficiently and was annoyed when people asked too many questions. We were all seniors and needed a slower pace. People were still trying to find where he was on their own computer and he would be done. The second one was outstanding and went at the pace of his group and assessed beforehand what people were interested in learning. That was much better. The latter was also versed in all Apple products so I was able to ask him some questions after the class. He keeps me coming back to MOA for classes rather than to another site.
