    I sat for 5 minutes waiting in an aisle while workers sat at the register nobody was in the store at all. Then I walked up to the register for help and the 2 male cashiers argued about not wanting to help a customer. Terrible customer service.

    Installer doing mobile electronic services was a nasty piece of work to communicate with. Older guy with glasses told someone else to ignore me while asking questions. I’m always so surprised when employees are rude and make it easy to never patronize a business. I’ll go out of my way to find a different location so that I never spend money here again.

    I’m not typically someone who writes reviews. And I never would’ve thought best buy would warrant this. I brought my SSD to Geek Squad because it was fried. I was told there was a $49.99 charge for a data recovery evaluation to see if my files were recoverable before moving forward with any expensive recovery work. Even the receipt says “data recovery evaluation.” After they received my SSD, I was then told there would be additional charges just to continue the evaluation process before even getting into actual recovery costs. That felt really misleading to me. At that point it seemed like I paid $50 just to get a quote. On 4/14 I replied to their email asking followup questions like: • What actually counts as a “partial recovery”? (the answer was one file saved by the way) • If only one file gets recovered, is that still considered a successful recovery worth ~$1,000? (the answer is yes) Then on 4/16 I got a voicemail saying if I didn’t respond by the next day they would send my SSD back to Best Buy. I called back that same day and left a voicemail because nobody answered (beyond my initial followup email). Then on 4/21 I got a call, and the conversation immediately turned into pressuring me to pay in full because my “time limit had expired.” Later I spoke to a supervisor on 4/25 who told me that even though I had replied to the contact email provided by best buy, left a voicemail to the correct number, and talked to support, (all of which happened before the deadline – minus when the support rep reached out ot me.) they had already shipped my SSD back anyway. I asked the supervisor to give me corporate’s number. Corporate told me a manager would call me back within 45 minutes. It’s now been days and nobody has called. At this point I’m out weeks of time, still have no answers on whether my data can even be recovered, and the entire process felt like pressure tactics mixed with upselling support packages instead of actually helping me. I’m disgusted with how this was handled and I won’t be using Best Buy again after this. I wont ever recommend Best Buy again after this. And I hope others can see this review and be saved the time, money, and hassle of trying to work with them for data recovery.

    Upon entry the store is very clean ams organized. I was able to easily find someone with the expertise in the section I was shopping to assist me, they were friendly and knowledgeable. Love shopping here and I will be back whenever I need an item that they offer. Oh yes and don't forget they have very good prices very competitive prices. Haystack several name brands.

    I went in there about the 17th of last month and I spent close to 6000 on 4 laptops and on TV. Two of the laptops had to be delivered and they said they would require a signature which was great. At least I felt they would be safe. We the first one showed up and I called the wife to let her know it was there as they didn't even knock on the door I went back to the store and informed them of then and they said the next one would be fixed. Well on the 24th of March the second one shows up and again no signature require and no one was home. By the time we got home from secretary of state it was stolen. I contacted FedEx right away and jumped though all the hoops and was told to call best by after a week. I contacted best buy though the website and after a little run around and everything they denied my claim in which I appealed and again denied and I was then told to go to the store and those at the store are even worse. In the end I'm out about 1400 bucks and someone got a new pc. The sad part the police said they couldn't do much. Because of the type of thief they would need to be caught in the act. Customer service contacted me here as you see and I did reach out to them again and like the last few times I talked to anyone there it was pointless. Best buy and thier employees do not care about customer service. Take you business someplace else. It is that simple.
