  Geek squad is a lifesaver. signed up so that all electronics are now covered to keep them clean and functioning at top performance. this saves money in long run as I do not like buying new evey few years but want to ensure my devices are updated. I am NO techie so this is needed!

  Today I wanted to purchase ear buds. They were priced $14.99 on the shelf in the store. When I went to check out, I was charged $24.99. I told them that was not the price and the cashier and I went to check. The cashier agreed with me that the price was $14.99, but when he asked the manager, he said the computer charged the price. Very bad customer service not to fix the price to what was on the shelf. I did not buy them. Edit: Best Buy contacted me and the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. Thank you.

  I wanted to change my review from a 2-star to a 4-star because my low rating was an over-reaction. The level of anger was more about the feeling of being powerless than anything terrible Best Buy did. Yes, I was mad that I wasn't made aware that it could be up to 3 days to service the laptop. But the job was done and done well, and I generally find the customer service there to be positive and helpful. [Prior review} Read the fine print. I had to leave my laptop at the Geek Squad as it could not be serviced while I waited. I didn't want to leave it at all, as I use it every day. I was told it would be ready in 24-48 hours. 48 hours later and it's still being worked on. I called and was told the work order was for 72 hours. So don't rely on what the nice agent tells you. Read the fine print. Right now I just feel lied to.
