  My dog has always loved going here! He drags me into the building instead of me pulling him. They do an amazing job at making my dog, cats, and myself comfortable with everything. I always leave a more well informed and better pet caretaker with every visit. I have never encountered a more professional and caring team of veterinary service providers anywhere in the nation. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff. Thank you to all the staff for all the hard work in a very emotionally and physically taxing industry.

  I can honestly say this was the worst experience I have ever had with a veterinary clinic, and our family is absolutely heartbroken. We brought our beloved 8-year-old dog in because he had suddenly become very sick and was clearly suffering. We were told that he had a large mass and likely cancer, and because of his age, there was essentially no reason to pursue surgery or treatment. Two days later, calling in for results from X-rays and blood work , we were told there was no mass and no cancer. Instead, we learned that he was “maybe diabetic” and there were other medical concerns that still needed answers. They wanted to charge another $1300 for more blood work -urine work ! We already paid approximately $2,000 for testing, including X-rays, and were ultimately sent home with an IV bag that we were expected to administer ourselves. Which we did ! We left this clinic without the answers or treatment we desperately needed. Our sweet boy continued to decline, and after taking him to another animal hospital in Allen Park 1 day later -he died in our arms. We are devastated and will always be left wondering whether a correct diagnosis and appropriate treatment sooner could have changed the outcome. As if losing him wasn't painful enough, today we received a sympathy card from this clinic—with the WRONG PET'S NAME on it. That was the final heartbreak for me. After everything our family went through, they couldn't even get our beloved pet's name correct on the sympathy card. I am sharing our family's experience because I would never want another pet owner to go through what we have gone through. Our baby was only 8 years old, and he is gone. We trusted this clinic to help him when he needed it most, and instead we were left with conflicting diagnoses, unanswered questions, tremendous heartbreak, and a $2,000 bill. Please advocate for your pets, ask questions, and if something does not feel right, get a second opinion immediately. I only wish we had gotten ours sooner. 💔🐾

  I can’t express how thankful I am they saved my cat . They aren’t even aware how much they just saved my life as well I couldn’t possibly live without my cat there is still hope in this world I whole heartedly believe it after this doctor helped me without budget range pricing , I am forver thankful to this place thank you so much for saving my baby I couldn’t live without

  I went for a couple puppies I just got. I was told over the phone to make sure I brought a bowel movement sample within 2 hours of the appointment. I had both samples and the nurse who took care of us just let it sit and told me time wasn't important at all, so why give me those instructions. Then the Dr. comes in it really seemed like she wasn't listening to me and after I told her I already bought all kinds of flea stuff they still added it to the quote. Plus I said I wasn't interested in their $99/month program and they still added that to the quote. My quote for 2 puppies for their 1st set of shots was almost $500 without all the extras 👀. I tried this place because of the "free" exam. I ended up just buying a couple candles and some mouth wash and took them over to my main vet at Animal Care Clinic in Inkster and got them taken care of for a third of the price. I'm thinking because it's a hospital it's overpriced but even then the staff or Dr didn't real care to listen or care to follow the instructions that they set for me.

  My entire experience with this office was disappointing. They canceled my first appointment because they were short staffed. When I came back for the rescheduled appointment, their system was down, yet nobody had called beforehand to let me know. The front desk staff were nice, but Dr. Alojzij Tekavec was extremely rude, dismissive, and argumentative. He asked whether my kitten gives me a hard time, and I explained that she is playful and sometimes play bites. He told me it was “more than just playful” and argued with me when I explained that she is a kitten who went from a pet store to a shelter and is still learning. When I asked what I could do to stop the biting, instead of providing professional advice, he responded, “How do you want me to check her? What do you want me to do?” Are you not the veterinarian? I brought her there because I expected him to know how to examine her and guide me. It honestly felt like he went to school for years just to act like he did not know anything or could not be bothered to help. His attitude made me feel judged and uncomfortable, so I walked out and told the front staff I would not be returning. The front staff were kind, but I would not recommend Dr. Alojzij Tekavec based on the disrespectful and unprofessional way he spoke to me.
