  I really really wanted to like this place. But I didnt. I got the Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe alla Romana and I thought that the sauce would have been made by emulsifying the cheese in the starchy pasta water but instead it was basically buttered noodles with cheese mixed in, so it lost the layers of flavor i would have expected of the dish. The food came out super fast though so that was a plus. But our waiter never came back to offer us refills so that was kind of a bummer.

  Top notch with great service! My wife and I were driving to our hotel, hungry, just drove 7 hours looking forward to getting my food thang on - just happened to be at the nearest stop light, looked over to my right and said "that looks like a good place to eat" my intuition was not wrong. If you like calamari - wood fired calamari?!?!? Never had calamari served like that and sure did enjoy the heck out of that appetizer. Being from NY I tend to be picky about my pizza - especially wood fired pizza (because I used to make it at an Italian restaurant) we got the Capriccioso za and super yummy! Really REALLY thin crust and excellent taste! Last but not least because I've been on a empanada kick lately - they have wood fired empanadas WOW!! crust is so flaky and delicious!! The drinks are very GOOD! recommend you trying this place out!

  Brasa Is What Ocean City Was Missing. The ambience at Brasa was beautiful from the moment we walked in. The menu is unlike anything else in Ocean City, with dishes you simply won't find elsewhere in town. Our waiter, Dionno, was spectacular, attentive and knowledgeable without ever hovering. The red snapper and flank steak were both cooked to perfection. The appetizers hit the spot, and the desserts were the perfect ending to the night. A colleague recommended Brasa, and I'm so glad they did. This is exactly what Ocean City was missing. We'll be back.

  My husband and I were excited to try Brasa. We arrived before 8:45pm on a Sunday and confirmed their closing time was 11pm. There were three hosts at the stand when we walked in. One said ‘Ehhh …let me see if the kitchen is still open’. The remaining hosts look at us confused as she goes to the kitchen. Came back and says ‘You are lucky, they will still serve you.’ I confirmed again the close time is 11 which was in two hours and she said yes. We told her no thank you and left. Spent $200 on a different experience elsewhere. The vibe of the place was nice and there were over 15 parties between the bar and tables. A kinder way for the interaction would have been ‘Hello. Just to let you know we will be closing early today but I hope you will come back tomorrow or stay for a cocktail.’

  Are the people writing these glowing reviews usually eating at McDonald's and Burger King? Because this place is nothing special. To be clear, the food isn't bad - it’s just entirely average. You can easily get food this good or better elsewhere for half the price. We spent $300 ($200 on food and $90 on wine), and the meal simply didn't justify the bill. On top of that, the service fell flat. Our water was never refilled once, and our waitress struggled to open our bottle with the corkscrew. But I guess it's Ocean City, what do you expect there.
