They do a nice job with the animals. The Vet seems to push for extra shots and treatments. The company overall seems only to be interested in money. I have taken my animals there since I moved to MD 9 years ago. When I fell behind on Care Club no one reached out to me. I never got a bill, email, text or call to say there was an issue. The first I knew of it was when I got a letter from a collection agency. I am very upset about this and have found a new Vet for my animals.

I brought my dying cat here about 10 minutes before closing, not expecting a miracle and not even asking them to stay late and provide full treatment. I was simply desperate for a little guidance on how to keep him comfortable and minimize his suffering. Instead, I was basically told to take him to an emergency vet. I understand an ER may have been the appropriate medical recommendation, but I could have Googled that myself. What I needed in that moment was a little compassion, practical advice, or even a few minutes of kindness while my pet was clearly very sick. I left feeling completely dismissed during one of the worst moments a pet owner can experience. “Support local businesses” is hard to get behind when this is the level of support you receive in return.

Thank you to the team at Chop tank animal hospital. It was my first time going there. I have been to a few vets and this experience by far was the best. The payment plan, the service and the people that work there all made my visit a stress-free and welcoming one. The Vet was very thorough she took her time and did a very well comprehensive exam. The vet techs were friendly and very very helpful. The lady at the front desk, was very kind and professional. If your looking for a vet - this is one of the best places here on the eastern shore.

the entire team was great from start to finish. they were the only vet around that would take my leopard gecko who was severely impacted. everything was explained to me in a straightforward manner and with compassion. unfortunately i had to humanely euthanize my gecko which has been heartbreaking. i figured i looked crazy, crying over losing my baby, but everyone there still treated me with the same respect as someone saying goodbye to their family. my sweet girl was treated with respect in her last moments and i can’t thank this team enough for everything that they do. just today i received a card in the mail along with prints of my geckos tail/ foot and i lost my composure again. i’ll forever cherish this gift and i want to thank Dr McConkey, Alex, Jenn, Christian and Mayson for their kind words and support through this very difficult time. I’d highly recommend anyone entrusting their animal with this group and i’d come here again if i ever needed to❤️
