Customer service sucks! Helped numerous customers before me did not greet me or help me with my purchase. Waited on one employee to help me with my purchase when it was other representatives gathered in a corner chatting. Waste of my lunch break low product availability.

I’m not as tech savvy as I should be for today’s technological world, so coming to this store gave me peace of mind knowing I was in the hands of knowledgeable technicians. Excellent customer service and very proficient. Thank you El and Taundra. Don’t stop smiling and Keep up the great work! Highly recommended.

1 star is a bit of a stretch, it deserves -5 star review. I had one of the most frustrating retail experiences of my life at the Apple Store in Bethesda. I went in fully intending to purchase a MacBook at the education price listed online. The staff member assisting me was friendly and seemed eager to help, especially since the model I wanted wasn’t available in-store. He suggested I purchase it through another location and, because I only had cash, advised me to buy an Apple gift card to complete the transaction. I trusted his guidance. What followed was hours of confusion and stress. The gift card was redeemed into my Apple account during the process, but the purchase failed due to system issues. Only then did everyone realize that once the balance is added to an Apple account, it becomes essentially irreversible and non-refundable. At that point, I was stuck. My money had been converted into Apple credit, I didn’t receive the product, and no one in the store had a real solution. Despite spending hours with staff and Apple Support, I left without the laptop and without access to my original funds. What makes this experience especially upsetting is that I followed the exact instructions given by store employees. I did not make an independent mistake—I relied on their process, and that process failed. I understand policies exist, but customers should never be guided into irreversible financial decisions without clear explanation of the risks. A company of Apple’s size and reputation should have safeguards in place for situations like this. The employees may have meant well, but good intentions don’t fix the consequences. I left feeling unsupported, unheard, and financially trapped. I hope management takes this seriously and improves training so no other customer goes through what I did.

I was in a rush and needed to reconcile my new laptop w/ my other devices however an older Apple ID suddenly resurrected and wouldn’t relent. Enter Alan! He greeted me and kindly told me he could not immediately help and said the care group would be an extended wait. Then he masterfully looked at my issue and bam! Solved it! Month’s of consternation resolved! A L A N!!!

I placed my order on April 4th and thought that I would have a simple pickup April 23rd at 11 AM. I expected a quick in-and-out process, especially since I stepped away from work to make it happen. Instead, it turned into a frustrating and unnecessarily drawn-out ordeal. When I arrived, the item was passed between three different employees before I could even get it. One person checked me in, then handed me off to someone else—who was already helping another customer—so I was passed along yet again. It felt disorganized and inefficient, especially for something that should have been straightforward. On top of that, the store itself was chaotic. There appeared to be some kind of seminar or event happening, making the space extremely loud and overcrowded. Employees blended into the crowd, making it difficult to tell who to approach for help. The overall atmosphere was stressful, not welcoming. To make matters worse, parking was a challenge, which only added to the inconvenience. What should have been a quick pickup turned into a frustrating experience from start to finish. Definitely not what I expected.
