Dr. Gifford is truly one-of-a-kind. She is incredibly thorough and always takes the time to fully understand any concerns, explaining everything in a way that is clear and easy to follow. It’s apparent how much she genuinely cares about the animals she treats.
She is especially patient with my dog, who is anxious & difficult at the vet. Her calm, compassionate approach makes such a difference— for both me and my pup! Dr. Gifford is highly knowledgeable, and I always leave our visits feeling heard, better informed, and deeply appreciative that my dog is in her care.

I'm finally done. It's really very sad because I love dr Gifford and Dr Leary. They are both excellent doctors! It's the office staff that is the real issue! And there is one lady there that is unbelievably rude and degrading.. On the phone and in person and after Weds call I can not do it again! When money wasn't a issue for me I never had a problem with this women. When I didn't question the price or worry about what the cost of things were she was fine. But unfortunately things changed for me. And this last 6 months of my personal life have suddenly become very hard. Financially I am having a hard time. So for the first time ever I am struggling with scheduling all the xtras and unnecessarys on their yearly vet appointments. Uncomfortably I am now actually having to call them to ask questions when I am scheduling my appointments. I have to ask how much certain things are and can some certain things wait till next visit etc.. It's already super embarrassing and super uncomfortable for me to do this and then to get this rude lady who is purposely trying to make me feel less then! So disheartening.. Im litterly on the verge of tears and completely humiliated by the end of the conversation. What is wrong? And for what! There are other excellent vets in my area that are also probably way cheaper.. And they most likely will also treat you like a human being when you call. So why would I keep putting myself through this..I mean it's so obvious to me now, that this organization is all about the money. Racking up Those xtras and unnecessary charges for unnecessary tests etc.. stuff I never ever worried about or never even noticed before now because I didn't have to. money was a non issue then.. now I have never been talked to so rudely in my entire life. Basically she was intentionally shaming me because I inconvinced her with my poor women questions. Then I had the audacity to ask her to add a nail clip to the visit and to hold off on the kennel cough vaccine this year! (my dogs don't go to kennels or dog parks or daycare so it could wait). And as for the nail clip She said "UM we're not grooomers! Go to petsmart it's cheaper!" I seriously couldn't even believe what I was hearing!. I felt like I was going to cry.. it was awful. She has no idea the reason we don't go to PetSmart is because Dr Leary told us to go there. We've always gone there! My dogs won't go to PetSmart they won't go into the actual grooming room they are rescues and they have traumas fears and anxieties! It was unbelievable! .. it was humiliating!.. I was Just trying to get some advice on what my dog needs and what I can wait on. When she said that at the end it was like a gut punch! Shame on you! Maybe the scheduling staff works on commission so they try to sell you all this stuff and if you can't afford it then your trash to them.? I really have no idea! But I do know I have Never ever been talked to like that in my entire life. Nvm by a so called professional that's supposed to be careing. I was a huge inconvenience to her obviously because I had money questions... Both my dogs have been going here their entire life. But nope not anymore ..This is the second time this same lady treated me like garbage and it will definitely be the last time.
