I gave a 4 because despite Best Buy having very nice employees, a free bathroom, and decent process, however- there have been enough reasons for it to get a 4 as an electronics store overall.
Even though they hire great people, they do not train them well enough. They sell computers but often cannot help you with technical inquiries for hardware. If you're looking for a phone or laptop, they can help you, but the knowledge only goes so far, as I have never been able to get good answers for my PC related questions. I also got an open box product that was not properly marked for everything that was missing, so I feel like that reflects the lack of familiarity when handling products.
Stock is also very sparse lately due to them failing to compete with online retailers and cannot compare to micro center except for home appliances.

The poor rating doesn’t reflect the store and the staff who were helpful. It’s the company.
1) I bought an iPad screen protector from the store. I asked if I could get help putting it on. They said it would cost me $9. Not a big deal but frustrating for sure. Especially because in the past they’ve always done it as a complimentary service. T mobile helped me out with the same thing for no cost. Very disappointing.
2) I needed help replacing the foam padding on my headphones. I brought the tools and everything. It was a simple issue where I was struggling to appropriately align the padding. For this. I was quoted $42. Outrageous. I’m happy to pay a service fee but not $42 esp when the technician looked confused himself.
He kept apologizing and said it was company policy, but it wasn’t like they were
Again, I would have been happy to pay but this experience really turned me off Best Buy. Especially when T mobile helped me out.

I was nervous about visiting Best Buy because they often have poor reviews but this Best Buy was awesome! There were a few associates right when I walked in that helped direct me to the right place and then Joe in Computers helped me pick out a monitor with ease! On my way out of the store with a large monitor on a cart the guys at the front again helped me get the monitor into my car! Great experience!!

I had a good experience when I was trying to buy a samsung galaxy book 6 and one of the sales man named sofiane did a phenomenal job from getting the product and explaining the features until we closed the deal and I bought it again thank you sofiane ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m so tired of being ping-ponged around by the employees here. They don’t want to communicate so they send you off on a goose chase to find someone who will help you.
Today I couldn’t find anyone on the floor so I asked the lady at the front door if she could get someone to help me find what I was looking for, she says yes, go to the aisle and I’ll call someone, I ask her if I can wait here, she says no, go wait in the aisle. What is the problem with waiting there for help?! I don’t want to go wait in an aisle while you page all employees, they all assume someone will get it and I’m stuck there standing. If I wait by you you’ll see no one has come and maybe attempt to get someone to me quicker.
I’ve been in here to purchase AirPods before, I wait in line at the checkout and finally get to a register and they are out of stock behind the counter where they always keep them but there’s one on the floor, the employee at the register tells me to go find someone on the floor to unlock the case instead of doing it themselves or simply communicating with their coworkers that I need AirPods from the case on the floor.
I go in another time to buy a SSD, I find it behind the locked case on the floor and I ask the employee in the pc section if he can unlock the case, he tells me to go ask the people at the checkout cause they have to get it from the warehouse. I spend 20 minutes standing at checkout while no one responds to the call the employee at the register made to get me the SSD, the employee at the register finally goes back to the warehouse himself and guess what, there aren’t any in the warehouse so he goes and unlocks the one from the case on the floor I originally asked for!
I’m so fed up with these employees, please communicate with each other, there is no reason to make it this difficult.
I can’t help you, so go find someone who can is what I get from the majority of the employees.
