Unfortunately, my family, friends, and I will all no longer be patients of VCA. The receptionist Monica was so rude to me, lied about being able to help me with a refund for a mistake made (she knew she could help and didn't want to), got even more upset and rude when the doctor said she had to give it to me after stating herself she couldn't, and all her coworkers apologized to me after my encounter and acknowledged everyone knows she has a nasty attitude when she stepped out. It is unfortunate that this is the environment fostered by the management at VCA, rather than letting go a team member everyone acknowledges is consistently rude to customers. I am not surprised though, as this is not my first bad experience with VCA reception and management. It's unfortunate because the veterinarians and vet techs are extremely kind, but not worth seeing when you have to interact with receptionists like Monica.
Very nice! The staff are very friendly and take great care of your pets. They care very deeply about your pets and give you pretty good accurate diagnosis of your pets. Plus with some cool pet products as well. I would recommend this vet for your pets.

Rochelle was an amazing person to have on your staff. She's smart, kind, and went above and beyond to assist me with booking, meds for my cat, and also assisted me with my bearded dragon to get in for a check up. Well done Rochelle and thank you for making my visit so wonderful!

Dr. Grunkina is the best!! She listens and takes concerns seriously. She took great care of my dog Winston during his dental cleaning and extractions, and made the experience calm and fear-free for him. Her and the techs kept us updated and checked in often. She’s thorough, compassionate, and so kind!!!! Can’t thank her enough. The whole team at VCA Wakefield is amazing! Highly reccomend.
