PET PARENTS BEWARE! I'm disabled, poor and a single mom. I had brought my cat here to get her checked up on because she stopped eating. They ran a few tests said they didn't know what was wrong and recommended other extensive testing and an MRI. I asked how much it would cost which was going to be hundreds of dollars stated it was too expensive for me. I even asked if I could make payments and they said I couldn't, so they just gave me medication for her to increase her appetite and told me if she didn't get any better than to bring her back which of course would have cost me for another appointment. The appointment was already expensive to begin with and I couldn't bring my cat there again without a way to pay for the other tests. My cat did not get better, so I found a vet that had discounted rates in hopes I could get the testing done without it being so expensive or a possible payment plan. They requested my cats records from VCA which were faxed over. They came to speak to me and stated "you do know that her organs are shutting down right?". And I had no idea. They then stated that it was in the paperwork that VCA had sent over. I had asked if the additional testing would save her life. They said my cat couldn't be saved anyway because once the organs start shutting down they are going to die anyway. I stated in tears why didn't VCA tell me that. They said point blank "VCA is a chain and are more concerned about making money" Enraged I said how could anyone who says they care about animals let an animal suffer longer than they needed to because of course I would have paid to put her to sleep then if I had only been told the truth because she deserved better than that. I of course paid this vet to put her to sleep and they let me hold her in my arms as she passed. She had to suffer longer just because VCA didn't tell me her organs were failing because they were hoping I would come back with money to get those expensive tests. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. They only care about money, not you or your pets. Find a place that actually cares about animals. I would give ZERO stars if it were an option. Anyone who is willing to let pets suffer in an attempt to make more money is a monster. IF YOU LOVE YOUR FUR BABIES DON'T BRING THEM TO ANY VCA! This location is not the only one with reviews on how they are more concerned with making money than the wellbeing of pets.

After the remodel, their prices went up and patient care has definitely suffered. After nearly 20 years, we have moved on to a better place.

Palmer VCA was recommended to me by my sister and couldn't be happier. I came from a vet with awful customer service and this place is the polar opposite. All of the staff are so great. They are kind, helpful and compassionate. My kitty has lots of anxiety and is very feisty and they are always so nice and patient with her. She also has lots of different medical issues going on and they all go above and beyond to give her the best care and are very good at calming me when I get stressed and worried about her. Fantastic vet and I highly recommend them. Very grateful I found them for my fur baby!

Had to make the tough decision of putting our 11 year old Olde English Bulldog down when he started to decline after treatment. They were always transparent with pricing every time we went. I felt educated by the staff on my options any time before treatment and I feel like they gave my kids and me the space to grieve and let him go in the most honorable way.
