Not sure whats changed here in the past year. I had a good experience the first time with customer service - dude who helped me was knowledgeable, kind and proactive. Today, I was shamed for not having apple care multiple times and belittled for supposedly using the wrong charger to power my laptop. Guy who helped me only bothered to give me "solutions" but did not give me the full details of what they entailed until I asked. Its one thing to have incompetent people working there who only know how to follow protocol, and its another when they also shame you along the way.

Even if you make an appointment with a “GENIUS” be prepared to sit and waste away your time. After a half hour of no one acknowledging my existence after checking in, I finally walked out. My time is just as important as theirs! Guess I should just go to my Carrie and check out the new phones from Samsung?

Just the worst apple location in Massachusetts .. you are better off going to Boston and dealing with them there than to come to Lynnfield location , terrible customer service .. there’s “specialists” just standing around looking at other specialists help customers and the people entering the store are being told it’s a 25 minute wait just for them to sell you basic AirPods ..
Customer service 0
De-escalation : 0
Manager : clueless
Specialists : more than one standing around doing nothing , but the manager is so oblivious that they don’t see anything .
I was waiting in line and got skipped twice ; when it was finally my turn , they told me that I need to wait 25 minutes just to buy AirPods .. meanwhile multiple “specialists” on the floor doing nothing … but they treat the customers poorly cause it’s mostly older people coming in and they feel like they can talk and do what they want with them .. so they just treat everyone so poorly .
Would reccomend going somewhere else for your apple needs

I visited the store to exchange my wife’s phone via warranty. Upon my inspection, there were no visible cracks. They took the phone to the back for tests. The representative returned and informed me that there was an issue with the phone’s internet connection, which was covered under warranty. However, once she turned the iPhone on its back upon further inspection, I noticed a chipped top right corner…
I had ensured that the phone was not damaged before bringing it in.
Why would I drive an hour to the store with a phone with physical damage and then expect a warranty exchange ? Charging me nearly $200 for the physical damages!
This situation is unjust!
However, charging me for the damage and holding me accountable for it is poor character and a lack of accountability with that employee. Bad rep for Apple.

I meant I can make the review sound more like something a real customer naturally wrote, rather than a polished formal review. For example, a more personal Google-review style could be:
I had a really great experience at the Apple Store on Market Street in Lynnfield.
I came in with a smashed phone and, yes, I did have to wait on Friday evening before Sarah was able to help me. I also waited about 32 minutes on Saturday evening. But honestly, the wait was worth it.
Sarah was wonderful—patient, helpful, and genuinely interested in getting my issue resolved. Steve was also great and helped make sure everything was taken care of. I really appreciated how both of them treated me and took the time to help.
SARA AND STEVE SAVED MY DAY after four days of not finding my apple ID and finally remembering my password and stuff. From having lost all hope on thousands of photos over 15 yrs of cloud and contacts and documenta. THEY CAME TO THE RESCUE.
After reading some of the negative reviews and seeing that this store has a 3.2 rating, I honestly don’t understand how my experience could be so different from what some others have described. WE HUMANS HAVE TO LEARN TO APPRECIATE OTHER’S EFFORTS and not focus on the little inconveniences that a certain time can generate…..at the end all the negative experiences of other reviews of the store and staff did not reflect my experience….Saturday evening August 8th 2026 was packed in there since it was tax free weekend. My experience was nothing but positive.💪💪🙏🙏🙏👌👌👌👌
BE MORE COMPASSIONATE!!!!!!
I left the store completely satisfied and very grateful for the help I received from Sarah and Steve and the whole team. They both did a great job with their team, and I would definitely recommend this Apple Store.
