  Hesitant to write this because Dr. Temple is the most kind, caring, patient and knowledgeable vet I have ever met but trying to get an appointment for our sick cat(s) has become completely impossible for at least the last 5-6 years. Today we were offered an appointment FOUR days from now for our cat that we suspect has a urinary tract infection. FOUR DAYS!! For a UTI. I ask of whoever is reading this review from the clinic would you want to wait 4 days for a UTI? No. No one would. The ladies at the office will happily tell you "to take your pet to an emergency clinic" each and every time you call to try to get a sick pet in. You are our vet, YOU should be seeing them for a sick visit. We can understand an occassional referral to an emergency clinic in extreme circumstances, but this is literally every time one of our pets gets sick for YEARS now. Or better yet they just don't answer the phone. DO BETTER ADAMS!! Not to mention the added stress to our pet driving them the longer distance to an emergency clinic is very stressful to our pet! I could mention many other issues dealing with the front desk staff over the years, but at this point why bother. We've already been forced to start using a vet in Gardner for the last UTI when they also couldnt see her. By the way, Adams Animal Hospital, that vet did request a copy of her records from your office which last i checked that request was IGNORED, records never sent. Do better for your patients Adams.

  Small town, big hearts. Compassionate, kind staff. Thank you Adams VCA, for helping us navigate our pet care (such intricate and challenging circumstances) with such empathy and grace. We are truly thankful and beyond appreciative.

  My dog ripped his stiches and it was very easy to get him seen to have it taken care of. They are super friendly and I enjoy having them as a vet.

  Financial entrapment is what I see this place does. The cat goes in with no issues comes out with a $600 visit charge ? Then they say take this plan which will cover everything for a year but the truth is your cat will be ok for the year they just got you to commit to the $600 that they plan on doing to everyone who makes a visit. They make it convenient to a $50 cost monthly but when you go for the 2nd visit at that visit you will spend more and that’s their plan as well. So the whole time the cat or dog was fine but you was just paying them because they had it planned

  My mother and I bring our dog here. We recently got a text saying our dog had Lyme disease. As worried owners we called the office for an explanation and information on what kind of medicine we need. When we spoke with the doctor he was very rude. I told him about the text we received and his reply was “and?” I thought that was an odd response from a doctor to a worried client. Then when I asked him how much the medicine would cost he said “idk.” He was extremely short with me and had a condescending tone which felt incredibly insulting considering our circumstances. My mother went to pick up the medicine and she had further questions about Lyme symptoms and the protocol. The woman at the front desk told her to google it. After this sort of interaction we will no longer be taking our dog to this Vet. These people showed us 0 compassion. We will be looking for a more considerate and personable veterinarian. Hope this helps other considering this place
