  I purchased a NIKKOR lens at Best Buy in-store in Sarasota, Florida. The lens was shipped from another state through UPS. As soon as the package arrived, I returned it to Best Buy without even opening the box. Despite this, Best Buy is charging me a $400 restocking fee. Because I strongly disagree with this charge, I closed my account and am gathering all of my documentation, including receipts, shipping information, emails, and records of my communications with Best Buy. I am also preparing to provide this documentation to Equifax because I have never had a late payment or missed payment on my account. I am very concerned about this charge and the possibility that I may refuse to pay a fee that I believe is unfair and unjustified.

I ordered a laptop worth about $2,500, but instead received a Lenovo laptop worth around $200. The shipping label and tracking number matched my order, yet the item inside the box was completely different. When I went to the store to resolve the issue, the staff refused to accept the incorrect laptop, leaving me without the product I paid for and without a clear solution. As a customer, I expected Best Buy to take responsibility for a shipping mistake and help resolve it promptly. I hope this issue is escalated and handled fairly, because this experience has been frustrating and has significantly reduced my confidence in ordering expensive items from Best Buy.

  I have attempted to deliver a drop and hook to this place 3 times and the will not accept delivery. They have rescheduled my delivery from Friday to Monday and now to Tuesday . Drivers stay away as their corporate office has way to much control over what local locations are allowed to do. I will not only refuse to move anymore freight for bestbuy but I will be calling for a driver and a store boycott. They care nothing about those just trying to make a living.
