Let me start by saying - the veterinary care here is great; I love the doctors and the techs and have always felt that they have taken great care of my dog and that they listen to my concerns and treat myself and my animals with care. The office manager on the other hand - HORRIBLE. My husband was told over the phone that our appointment was at 2:30 and we received no further communication due to technical errors on their end (that.I have attempted to resolve in the past); he arrived to the appointment at 2:30 and was told he could not be seen due to being past the five minute grace period for appointments and that our appointment was actually scheduled for 2:20. We have been loyal clients since 2020 and never had an issue prior to this, when I spoke to the office manager she offered nothing other than backhanded apologies never admitting to any fault on their end, accused my husband of lying about the details of the situation, and refused to take any accountability for the situation. The only apology I got was "well I'm sorry IF that happened" instead of accepting that they were, at the minimum, partially at fault (even though, in my opinion they are fully at fault). I explained to her that I can admit fault when I am in the wrong and that I would not be this upset if I felt we had done anything wrong; I felt that the customer service in this situation was severely lacking due to lack of communication on their end and failure to take responsibility. As a business, if you make a mistake you should attempt to fix it rather than gaslight your customers through half-hearted, backhanded apologies and accusing them of lying. I truly feel that the office should have found a way to work us in but understand that it was not possible and that we can't go back and fix what has already happened so truly all I was seeking on this phone call was a genuine apology that I never got; never once was a single ounce of true accountability in the situation taken by her and the only "I'm sorry" I got was "IF" something happened as if she did not believe a single word I was saying over the phone. I also mentioned that I had had minor adverse experiences with other front office staff that were more just mildly annoying (not worthy of calling a manager, just things that had not happened in the past) and she became upset because I would not name specific staff. I told her I was uncomfortable doing so because by goal was not to get anyone in trouble on this phone call but rather to express my frustration with the lack of communication about the change in grace period and how this particular situation was handled. I was not going to write this review until the office manager told me that my husband admitted in office to being late to the 2:20 appointment which never happened and insinuated he was lying about the entire situation which, in my opinion, is beyond unprofessional.

I’m relatively dissatisfied with this clinic. Moved here not too long ago, other VCA in different state seemed better. My cat was calmer around these people but they were using the feliaway in the room. The doctor has confidence and is good at her job but this specific office seems rather greedy for money. Despite cat being okay they are trying to find other issues to get you to do a million tests. My cat is diabetic and we’ve had him checked previously in a different state with higher cost of living and it was 300. This place cost us 700 and they just checked his pee and diabetes plus vaccines. He was sedated but 700?? I expected maybe 500 max. It’s ridiculous. They bring an iPad to your room to show you a bunch of tests YOU NEVER EVEN DISCUSSED, like 1,700 dollars worth of tests. Maam do you think I pull money out of my crack? These people are kind of gross, and pry on people for money.

This place is amazing. They were so great with my Sirus. Dr Rainey was so attentive and he melted in her arms. She explained everything to me that was going on with him. She is GREAT! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I WISH I COULD GIVE IT 10 STARS. I WAS SO STRESSED ABOUT MY FUR BABY AND FROM THE TIME WE WALKED IN THE DOOR WE RECIEVED EXCELLENT CARE FROM EXCELLENT STAFF.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible care my dog received at VCA Fairleigh during her geriatric years. From the moment we walked through the door, Dr Rainey and the staff treated my dog with love and care. Dr. Rainey was not only knowledgeable but also compassionate by taking the time to explain every procedure and answer all my questions. Everyone provided tailored care that made a significant difference in my dog's comfort and quality of life. After my dog passed away I received a hand written note from Dr. Rainey and the staff, and to me displayed the level of detail and love they have for their patients beyond treatment.
