Spent 3 hours, just to be told that they can’t replace my default phone! And we’re going to try and change 500 dollars for a new phone. I think if your clients are coming to you to try and fix a problem you should be able to. This is why more people are switching from Apple to Androids.

I’ve been an Apple customer for years, so this experience was disappointing.
I brought in a Mac that has had issues since it was purchased six years ago. It had essentially become unusable. The technicians were able to erase it and reinstall the newest version of macOS the computer supports, and for that I’m genuinely appreciative.
The problem came when I picked it up.
After leaving the store, I realized the power cord that I had dropped off with the computer was missing. I returned to the store rep, and was asked to wait at a table. Minutes later, the manager arrived and the interaction quickly became frustrating. Rather than simply acknowledging the situation and helping resolve it, he repeatedly emphasized that they “typically” don’t keep power cords. I understood what “typically” meant the first time, but it was repeated several more times as though I was accusing the store of stealing my cable—which I never did. I was simply trying to retrieve the cord that belonged to my computer.
Eventually, he handed me a different power cord while making it clear it wasn’t mine, and the entire interaction felt less like customer service and more like I was being lectured over something that should have been a straightforward solution. A little ownership and empathy would have gone a long way.
One other observation: I was surprised by how many pets were inside the store the day I dropped off my computer and was purchasing another. Between dogs barking at one another while customers were trying to shop for electronics, the atmosphere felt more like a pet-friendly gathering than the premium retail experience Apple is known for.
The technicians who worked on my Mac did what they could, and I appreciate that. Unfortunately, the manager’s handling of a simple customer service issue left a far more lasting impression than the repair itself.

if you're an Apple fan
seriously getting Android instead
otherwise come here as it's the only Apple Store in Indiana and it's a pretty good one at that
and
don't forget to buy AppleCare+ for all of your devices
it's so worth it

We came in the first time for a scheduled appointment and still waited over an hour, only to be told they didn’t even have the part in stock. We were told they would email us once it arrived, which they eventually did, so we came back expecting a smooth repair.
Amy and Travis weren’t helpful at all. We came in to repair a cracked camera lens, but during the repair, the technicians ended up breaking the entire back of the phone. They didn’t seem sorry or take any responsibility for what happened.
When we asked if the repair fee could be waived since the additional damage occurred during the repair, Amy said there was nothing she could do. The only solution offered was a discount on a $50 phone case, which was completely unacceptable. She’s the manager, the customer service was extremely disappointing. Still have to wait for the part to get the back repaired that they broke!
The entire store felt disorganized, and no one seemed interested in making the situation right. Booking an appointment doesn’t seem to matter you can still expect to wait over an hour just to be seen, and for repairs you’ll likely end up spending the entire day there.
Apple’s customer service has really gone downhill. This was by far the worst Apple Store experience I’ve ever had, and I would not recommend this location based on how this situation was handled.

Made an appointment in the middle of the day to avoid traffic and crowds. Was earlier and checked in. I sat there for an hour and went back up to the desk to find out why I was still waiting. I was told, Sorry, we forgot about you and didn't put your name on the list.
I was told they would take care of me next, but everyone was currently busy. About thirty minutes later someone come overs to help. They basically took my MacBook to ship it back to Apple for repairs. I spent over 90 minutes here, waiting, with an appointment, for someone to spend 60 seconds with me getting my MacBook, collecting payment and shipping it back to Apple.
Next time I will just work with Apple directly over the phone. Using this store location was totally pointless, wasted my time and ended up getting me caught in rush hour traffic.
