I had a really good impression of this clinic! It was quick to schedule an appointment, especially since I was a new patient. The whole process was professional and smooth. The doctor and technician were both super friendly and patient. I will definitely come back next time.

Both times I have called to make an appointment for a cat then a dog. They don't have any appointments for more than 2 weeks out. Very disappointed in vet care in Woodstock.

I am very disappointed with the VCA Woodstock.. I had 2 visits with them and I wont be coming back. 1st visit: We showed up on time for just a check up and to get established since my vet of 6 years retired.. my impression of the outside was nice, I assumed the inside was going to be just as nice but I was wrong.. The energy in this facility is very dark and not a happy clean environment that I hoped for. They put me in exam room 1 that had a foul odor of dog urine, and I kindly asked immediately as soon as I walked into the room to be switched to a different room because the smell was overwhelming. As soon as she placed me in exam room number 2 she walked out and I could hear the lady telling the other staff that I had an issue with the smell in exam room one and then I heard them laughing about it and that really made me feel very uncomfortable and was even more concerned at that point, but I continued with the visit and I had Dr. Green and she was a very sweet lady, but that didn't really override how disgusting the whole facility really was. Hair all over the rugs. It looks like they haven't swept or mopped in a week or so, which is insanely unhygienic, especially if sick dog walks in. After the visit I left and didn't think I'd need to come back until I realized I needed to get my heart worm and tick stuff for the summer. 2nd visit: I walked in trying to be very positive and very kind, but as soon as I walked in, I noticed that the rugs and everything was still gross. The floors were sticky. They had turned the air conditioning on at this point so it kind of drowned out the smell, and the lady walked me into exam room number 1 again and at first, I didn't smell the smell of urine and I thought to myself, oh wonderful they took care of it, but as I was sitting in that room, again arrived on time for my appointment this time them making me wait close to 15 minutes after my appointment time sitting in that room, I just started to get very nauseous and lightheaded because the smell of the dog urine was so overwhelming that I walked out and I asked the front desk people what's going on and why is this taking so long to just draw her blood to get the heartworm test done, ( there was one car in the parking lot, so they weren't busy) and they all looked at me as if I was a giant problem and barely even made eye contact with me. Then the vet tech came and took my dog into the back to draw her blood, and then immediately walked her back out didn't look me in the eyes at all, and barely gave me any information about what was going on but I ended up paying $300 for the medication and the blood draw, which I was fine with, but as soon as we got home, my dog started licking her arm like crazy where they drew the blood and this morning I am waking up to her arm swollen, and this was all because I just needed to draw some blood, my dog is extremely uncomfortable today and I am absolutely upset about it, and I will be calling the facility today as soon as they open up to talk to them further about this and my concerns and to let them know that I won't ever be coming back. Lord forbid you actually have something seriously wrong with your dog, I would not trust these people at all to handle any issue with my dogs the way they treated me, the way the facility smelt and the way they kept they're waiting facility covered in dog hair and weird stains all over the floor. This place is completely unacceptable and I just don't know what to do now because I need to find a local vet and I don't know what to do. Thanks for nothing VCA Woodstock.

I can't say enough good things about Woodstock Vet Clinic. The entire staff is always so helpful, informative, knowledgeable, considerate and friendly. I have been bringing my dogs there on and off for a few years and always feel like every person I come in contact with there truly cares about my dogs and me. Their prices may be a little higher than some other vets in the area, but the trust that I have in them is worth a few extra dollars. I highly recommend Woodstock Vet Clinic!!!
