  Don't take your computer or device here; take it to Woodfield. I didn't want to deal with Schaumburg traffic, so I decided to bring my MacBook here. It should have been a simple fix of one of my arrow keys. They couldn't fix it and said they had to replace my entire keyboard. They said it would be ready Sunday, which is why I dropped it off Thursday when I had a long weekend. Sunday rolls around, zero communication or updates. No call or email to say there was any delay. I had to call support multiple times and speak with multiple people to be told it would be done first thing Monday morning. No apology, no explanation, nothing. Monday rolls around, zero communication yet again, and at this point I need the computer for work. Again, had to call multiple people to no avail and no answers. Was told the manager would call me, which SHOCKER... didn't happen! My fiancé went into the store since he was in the area to see what was happening; then it finally miraculously was done that night for me to pick up after it took two of us and multiple days of us checking in. Don't overpromise and underdeliver, and if you are going to, at least communicate with people! I get things happen, but with what we pay for Apple devices, the bare minimum should be communication and transparency.

  The Apple store is hit or miss. If you get there when it's "not crowded" you may get service. If it's crowded you'll be waiting up to 40 minutes. We order online and pick up in store when we know it's not going to be busy. Because if you pick up when it's busy you'll be waiting for 40 minutes.

  I bought a Neo MacBook and collected it two weeks later, which was last week, it is a present for a friend and he came too, it was such terrible treatment, I was absolutely shocked, buying a computer like Apple I wanted someone to show him just the basics, I was so very disappointed and upset, like all these reviews which I should of read before going, I would of got a different computer for him, I do not recommend this store, willing to take your money, no time to show you the product!!!!!!

  Customer service here sucks. I was standing around waiting for someone to please sell me a new I phone. the check in girl looks at me after 10 minutes and asks if I was there for an i pad appointment (which I had already completed) and I said I was waiting to buy a new I phone. I also said I'm tired of standing around (there were multiple people who could have taken my money) and I was leaving......she's smiles and dismissively says ok..bye.

  I brought my phone to this location for a battery replacement, and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. Following the repair, my screen was damaged due to what appeared to be a torn connector. Since the service, the camera’s optical image stabilization (OIS) system has been malfunctioning, causing excessive vibration, overheating, and camera performance issues that were not present before the repair. What was most frustrating was the lack of accountability. Despite explaining the issues and requesting that the device be inspected to determine whether a connection was improperly installed during the repair, the staff refused to take responsibility or even conduct a thorough evaluation. I have generally had positive experiences with Apple and have found them willing to resolve issues when they arise, which made this experience even more disappointing. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others about using this location for repairs. I was particularly disappointed with how the situation was handled by the manager, Matt. I hope Apple reviews the service standards at this location so future customers do not encounter similar issues.
