  Think Twice Before Giving VCA Lakeshore Your Credit Card!!! I only went to VCA Lakeshore because Paws Chicago recommended them when I adopted my cat. Looking back, I really wish I had gone somewhere else! I brought my cat there three times for routine checkups. Every single visit, I waited at least 45 minutes past my appointment time before anyone saw us. Waiting once is understandable. Waiting every single time is not! What finally made me decide never to go back was their CareClub nightmare. During our last check up in June, they told me that if I joined CareClub, the cost of that day’s visit would be refunded and I would pay a monthly membership fee. That refund never happened. Instead, my credit card started getting charged for things I never agreed to. Over the following weeks, thousands of dollars were charged to my card. I spent countless hours calling, emailing, and trying to get someone to fix it. After all that, I told them to cancel everything because I wanted nothing more to do with VCA or their CareClub. I thought it was finally over.Then another charge for several hundred dollars just showed up on my card. At this point, I don’t even know why they still have my payment information or why they think it’s acceptable to keep charging me after I explicitly canceled everything. VCA Lakeshore brought CareClub into the transaction, and when things went wrong, I was the one left dealing with weeks of stress and repeated unauthorized charges. If you’re thinking about signing up for CareClub at VCA Lakeshore, please be extremely careful. My experience turned a simple vet visit into weeks of frustration, repeated billing problems, and a complete loss of trust. I will never return, and I would never recommend this clinic to anyone.

  Nice location and excellent staff. The person at the front desk is very attentive and sweet. Dr. Ali is a really nice person who always answers all my questions in a knowledgeable and respectful way. My cat Kenny feels really comfortable here. 🫶🏻

  Had an appointment for 6. Showed up on time and the doctor wouldn’t see my pet because he wanted to leave early, go somewhere else

  I came to VCA to get some vet care for my pup and the staff was nothing but kind and compassionate! They seem like they care and take their jobs and patients seriously. Receptionist Brianna was a standout as she greeted with a smile and made sure we were taken care of. I would recommend stopping here for your vet care!

  I love this VCA!! The staff was incredibly kind, professional, and compassionate from the moment we walked in. They took amazing care of my pet and made sure to explain everything clearly and break down the cost of the visit with me! You can tell the veterinarian, Dr.Ali truly cares about animals and treats them like family. The clinic was clean, organized, and welcoming, and the whole team went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I’m very grateful for the excellent care and would highly recommend this animal hospital to anyone looking for trustworthy and caring veterinary services. Thank you vca!
