  I have being going to VCA since I moved here in 2016. Since then Ive had 2 vets, both are exceptional and caring! Dr. Diaz is who we see now and he really cares about the patients he is seeing. I appreciate that he is very direct with us about the care that our pups need. He is always willing to listen to what's going on and makes sure we leave with the exact information that we need to make the best decisions for our babies. The staff are also very sweet and they definitely care for all the animals that walk through their door. This location is a gem and I hope they get the support from VCA they deserve!!

  Front staff is always friendly and helpful. Both my dogs see Dr Diaz and we are very happy. He is caring and thorough. I’ve been going to VCA for 11 years!

  Think Twice Before Giving VCA Lakeshore Your Credit Card!!! I only went to VCA Lakeshore because Paws Chicago recommended them when I adopted my cat. Looking back, I really wish I had gone somewhere else! I brought my cat there three times for routine checkups. Every single visit, I waited at least 45 minutes past my appointment time before anyone saw us. Waiting once is understandable. Waiting every single time is not! What finally made me decide never to go back was their CareClub nightmare. During our last check up in June, they told me that if I joined CareClub, the cost of that day’s visit would be refunded and I would pay a monthly membership fee. That refund never happened. Instead, my credit card started getting charged for things I never agreed to. Over the following weeks, thousands of dollars were charged to my card. I spent countless hours calling, emailing, and trying to get someone to fix it. After all that, I told them to cancel everything because I wanted nothing more to do with VCA or their CareClub. I thought it was finally over.Then another charge for several hundred dollars just showed up on my card. At this point, I don’t even know why they still have my payment information or why they think it’s acceptable to keep charging me after I explicitly canceled everything. VCA Lakeshore brought CareClub into the transaction, and when things went wrong, I was the one left dealing with weeks of stress and repeated unauthorized charges. If you’re thinking about signing up for CareClub at VCA Lakeshore, please be extremely careful. My experience turned a simple vet visit into weeks of frustration, repeated billing problems, and a complete loss of trust. I will never return, and I would never recommend this clinic to anyone.

  Nice location and excellent staff. The person at the front desk is very attentive and sweet. Dr. Ali is a really nice person who always answers all my questions in a knowledgeable and respectful way. My cat Kenny feels really comfortable here. 🫶🏻
