I want to give a massive shoutout to Nicole. I came in today in a moment of real distress after another Best Buy location in Bozeman completely failed to do their job properly. I was frustrated and exhausted, but Nicole stepped up and handled everything. She didn’t just offer empty reassurances; she actually picked up the ball, found the issue with my Total account, and helped me get the cancellation and resolution I needed. I have been buying stuff at Best Buy for years now but the cost of everything is making it almost impossible to keep going there. They do always have gadgets that I need, which is good.
But, I just bought a new laptop back in September that I need for work. The stupid thing is already losing ports that I can no longer use and it's having other issues. It's under warranty and I have protection, but they are telling me I have to wait weeks to get it fixed.
So, I'm not even sure how to deal with that issue because I don't have another computer.

Really excellent customer service. Attentive staff. I've bought multiple electronics from them over the years, they always price match items I've found online. Returns are easy. Coverage plans work easily. I highly recommend doing business with them first before purchasing online.

Went in to Best Buy to purchase a new computer and a device to recover data off of my minis forum that died. There were only about 8 customers in the entire store and most of those were at the customer service and geek squad desks. I left after 15 minutes. Not one rep made an attempt to assist me or even acknowledge my presence. Several employees were just wandering up and down the isles with their head buried in their phone. When I attempted to get their attention, they just kept walking. When I left, I tried to call the store manager (good luck with that) Their "automated assistant" DOES NOT understand ANYTHING. It hung up on me 4 times because it doesn't understand "customer assistance" or "file a complaint" or "talk to a store manger." When a real person finally picked up, it had transferred me to a different state. It is VERY EASY to see why there are no customers in their store
