    I drove 30 minutes to a 10:30 appointment for a battery replacement and left with a broken phone. The repair appointment time, it turns out, was just for check-in. Only after completing diagnostics and turning off Find My iPhone was I told pickup would be 1 pm. When I pushed back, a manager brought it to 12:30. I raised that the whole experience was set up by bad expectation management — that nothing about booking suggested a half-day commitment. The response felt like lip service, and I left with little confidence that my completing a survey would translate into anything changing. Then I was told it could take longer if issues came up. When I pointed out that most people rely on their phone for multi-factor authentication — the very thing Apple all but forces on you — I was asked what MFA stands for. At an Apple Store. I was then informed they needed the extra time in case complications arose, before it was acknowledged that even the baseline estimate never accounted for that buffer. The promise was never real, and the caveat exposed it. No duration was ever mentioned when I booked. A battery replacement, apparently, is a half-day commitment — and you’ll find that out only after a thirty-minute check-in and an hour of driving. With afternoon appointments and a phone I couldn’t surrender until at least 12:30 — the very phone I need for the authentication Apple recommends— I left with the same dead battery I came in with. The deepest irony is that my phone diagnosed itself. The battery health warning came from the phone. It was never ambiguous. And it still took half a day I didn’t have to find that out. Both scenarios require an appointment — but a catastrophic failure means you’re in and out. A repair means the hidden waiting only reveals itself at check-in. You’d almost want the worse outcome just to get your afternoon back.

    If you own a business go with PC or get it online. The store has no idea what they are doing when it comes to business accounts. I bought a Macbook Air for a new hire, explained I had a Business Connect account, which I though was separate from a Apple Business Manager account. I explained this and expressed my concerns of creating a duplicate account. I was told that will not happen. Well... it did. I now have a staff member of my company that has no computer until Apple's engineers fix a "known" problem with the Business accounts. I am now being told will take a bit over a week from purchase to have this sorted out. Apple does not care about small business's and has no understanding that when a small business wastes time on a call, it takes away from growth of a company. I would highly recommend if you own a business, do not go in to this store. They have no idea what they are talking about and are only concerned with making a sale.

    I have a business and I bought a new laptop for a staff member. The people at this store have no idea how to use Apple Business Manager. I am currently trying to fix what they screwed up, which has taken hrs of time from my company. Training needs to happen. Update: Waited 72 hours then got this email to wait another 72 hours: "I know you are currently in a meeting but before calling you I wanted to inform you of what I have discovered. We currently have a back end issue with this that requires an engineering ticket. When I call you back I will have to gather logs and a screen recording and submit the ticket to our engineering team. However, I do know you are on a time crunch and needed this resolved today. We cannot guarantee it will be resolved today, once the ticket is submitted we have to give the engineers 72 hours turn around time but it could get resolved sooner than that." If you have a business save yourself time and get a PC.
