  SO GRATEFUL!!! ❤️ my family was in the parking lot walking to get shave ice and we witnessed a small kitten get its back legs hit by a car and run away under a car crying in pain, I ran inside panicked and told them what we just saw and 3 different employees ran out IMMEDIATELY and were able to get the kitten and rush back inside to provide care. I just wanted to share, you guys are incredible. I would 100% take my animal here in the event of a emergency because I KNOW if they provide the care and urgency to a stray kitten, they will take care of your fur baby❤️

  I have to say I had a very bad experience with this business. I am writing to formally log a complaint regarding the care my dog received at your facility. I felt pressured into scheduling an expensive surgery by the attending doctor, who guilted me by suggesting the injury was partially my fault because my dog was not neutered. The surgeon never examined my dog before the procedure was scheduled, and I was only warned of a 5% chance of failure. Following the surgery, I was repeatedly assured that my dog was doing well and ready to go home. However, when I arrived to pick him up, it was clear he was not ready. He was doing worse, unable to stand, and more paralyzed than before the procedure. When I raised these concerns, Dr. Steele seemed insulted, though she begrudgingly took him back to administer the painkillers she had already begun weaning him off of. Later that night, I received a call informing me that the surgeon admitted the procedure was unsuccessful. I am deeply concerned by the lack of care, transparency, and professionalism displayed throughout this process. The most detailed consultation I received was from financial ....

  Vet referred my dog here for an eye exam. $525! Not including test. Don’t know how this “Dr” sleeps at night.

  One star.🛑 Very poor and sad experience at VCA Family and Oahu Veterinary Specialty Center Pearl City. We waited over 5 hours with little communication. 🛑 Dr. Hillary Sullivan was cold, robotic, and vague and heartless. She could not clearly explain what was wrong with my dog, saying it could be infection/pus or a kidney stone/blockage, yet she still pushed surgery while admitting it might not even help. I was then quoted around $6,000 for overnight care with an IV, and was told the cost could be lowered if they “didn’t check on my dog that much.” That was shocking to hear. I couldn’t believe my ears. When my dog was returned to me, her nails had been clipped so short they were bleeding, which I never approved especially considering her condition she was in at the time. This was one of the most heartless and unprofessional veterinary experiences I have ever had. Please be cautious ⚠️
