If I could give this place NO stars, I would…Took my fur baby in for an emergency visit. We ended up losing her but it was ultimately our choice with her many health problems. When we were discussing her cremation, we were told about the paw print keepsake and they said we would be charged for an extra one. I was fine with that. We ordered 2 vials of my babies fur and we saw the staff write "2" on the paperwork. We left heartbroken but satisfied with our visit. When we were called to pick up my baby's remains, they went over what they put in the bag they give you with the remains. I saw only one paw print keepsake. I told them they said they were gonna charge us for the second one and even told us how much it was going to be. The staff told us to wait, they were gonna look for it. The staff said they didn't have it and we were not charged for it. Ok, at least I have one. We left the hospital and when we were driving away, I realized the two vials of fur were not in the bag. I quickly called them and the staff told me he saw that there was an order for two vials. He goes on to ask me "it's not in the bag?" He went through the bag with me! He knew it wasn't in there and didn't say a single thing about it! He said he would look around and give me a call back. He called back and told me there is NO vials of fur for me. I asked how they can do something like that, we're already distraught as it is with losing a fur baby. I also asked who does the paw prints and the fur vials, the vet office or the crematory. The vet office does it. So how in the hell could this happen when the paperwork is or should be right there in front of them? He said a manager would call me the next day. I'm lucky I left before I realized the vials of fur were not in the bag cuz I woulda raised hell on that place. I am sooo full of anger and hate for this place. You trust someone to look after your pet with the utmost care during these difficult times and they do this. I will never get this back. WHEN I SAY I HATE THIS PLACE, THAT IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. Whoever messed up on prepping my baby for cremation, should NOT be working with peoples loved ones. They can't care enough to check and double check their work before sending them for cremation? Totally unacceptable.

I absolutely love VCA! They are so amazing with my large dog who is very scared of the doctors "tools". He's had some bad experiences in the past. We both love that we can stay together during the visit too, no separation anxiety for either of us. Amazing staff and veterinarians! Thank you

Brought trixie in cause she was getting weak. The doctor did a bunch of tests and she didnt know what was wrong. We wanted to be with her incase she passed away. The doctor wouldnt let us stay with her. She said there was nothing else she could do for trixie and wanted to keep her overnight to do an ultrasound in the morning. So we told the doctor to give trixie back to us and we would bring her back in the morning for the ultrasound. The doctor wouldnt give her back to us and threatened that the ultrasound would cost more if we did that. She kept refusing to give trixie back to us so we could spend the night with her just incase she didnt last the night. She wouldnt let us be with trixie and wouldnt stop argueing with us about taking her home. By the time she stopped arguing with us and went to get her, trixie passed away in a strange place scared and alone without us because the doctor wouldnt let us be with her and was too busy argueing with us about taking her home so that we could be with her and keep her comfortable incase she passes away. And if that wasnt bad enough we spent thousands on tests and the doctor couldnt tell her what was wrong with her. If i could give the place negative stars i would. I definately would never recommend this place to anyone. The ladies at the front desk were nice though.

Been with the VCA so long that there is literally only good things I can say. Even the compassion shown when loosing a fur baby.

This review is for the admin staff and systems when vets are out of office. I have called three times in three days asking for bloodwork results because my cat has lost a significant amount of weight and is not eating much. First time, this Tuesday, I was told my vet was out for another week. I asked if anyone else could call me and I was told a vet tech. I waited, it’s now Thursday, I called this morning and was told that my vet was out but bloodwork was ‘urgent’ and a vet would call but was in back-to-back appointments. I called again this afternoon, requested results, was told my vet was out (again-I know, thanks) and the vet was in back-to-back appointments until 6:30, and ‘maybe’ they would call. I requested the results emailed because my sister is a vet. I was told they would have to ask my vet who is out for another week. I recommend your admin team take at least a note on the pets profile about an owner calling, and that they acknowledge your call, or some sort of customer service because repeated information and maybe is extremely irritating. My vet seems great but this customer service portion is lacking. So one-star because I have to leave it, and one because I like the vet, but this review is for your admin and systems.
