  My neighbor recommended VCA Kapolei. Our cat got sick just before we were to be heading out on a trip. I called and they didn’t have any appointments because it was last minute but they were able to squeeze us in, which I really appreciated, as we were leaving the next day. The staff and the vet were great. Everyone in the office was kind and helpful. They communicated well and provided great care for our cat, as well as following up a few days after to check in. I really appreciated everyone at this office and would recommend them to anyone who asks.

  been coming here for years. they take such great care of my chihuahua. the care club benefits are totally worth it (especially with the annual dental cleaning).

  Have been taking my dog here for years. Good care but extremely overpriced and treat you like whatever is wrong with your pet is your fault. Antibiotics, pain meds, exam fee, allergy meds, and several other things they wanted to do or sell me… totaled $660 and when I asked for a minute to consider what I would do as far as services, they told me “no because then I might not have a lunch break so you need to decide now”. $660 might not be much to some but that’s ridiculous to me, especially since my dog now has to have a $1500 surgery and the $660 was just for the pills and exam. Mind you this lunch commentary was after already being 40 min into the appointment and I was left waiting in the exam room for several minutes multiple times without consideration of my time in the same way. They charged me $75 for a 15 day supply of allergy meds AND gave me a prescription that they recommended I fill at Costco since it’s cheaper. When I told them I was worried about the overall cost of today’s services and asked if they had payment plans (they don’t), they failed to let me know they didn’t have to sell me the 15 day supply and I could’ve just picked up the costco prescription that same day (30 day supply of the same meds are $75 at costco). That’s just poor customer service and they knew what they were doing by not being upfront about this info when I had already expressed concerns about ways to lower the bill.

  I started giving it rave reviews, but the prices are astronomical! I don't recommend this place!

  Always with overcharging not like hawaii already too expensive for people now it's too expensive for animals
