Phenomenal service. Bought an iPhone and Verizon took 2 days to port my new number, then lost it. Ryan literally argued with 3 different people on my behalf with Verizon’s HOT DOG WATER customer service after they literally couldn’t find my number in their system (went to Tmobile 5 mins later and they found my number associated with Verizon). Have never been down by this Apple Store or its employees.

I went to a beginner class for Mac. The class was not what I expected especially since I'm a former teacher (well I guess I'm always a teacher but it's what I used to do 😉. To me a beginner class would include starting and showing people a specific way the computer in steps.. instead it was a question and answer session. It wound up being only two people myself and someone else who had a Mac before and now had upgraded. She really had a need for technical help not learning how to begin using a computer or just the iOS system of navigating. There should be questions Mac asks before you go to class and then put a class together with the people who need real beginner help such as myself who used Microsoft computers all my life. Show how to use it first and then question and answer session. Also from what I recall the class was supposed to be from 5:00 to 7:00 and around 6:30 he said okay the class is ended now. Really? I didn't feel like going back into my phone to see if I was right but I'm pretty sure I was as I usually set my calendar up according to the time that was allotted. This beginner class is just a way to get you into the store so you buy things. Did I learn a few things yes but definitely not a step by step process of a teaching method designed for real beginners.

Went in to get my port cleaned because I was having charging issues. The tech came out and took my phone to the back. She came back out and told me that the prongs are bent on the inside. Basically said that’s what’s causing the issue. I decline and she didn’t even bother cleaning it. I took it to a third party and got a second opinion in Kailua and within 2 minutes he confirmed that my port was fine and it was charging okay. He couldn’t find an issue with my phone. It turned out to be a cable issue. Apple tried to fraudulently sell me something I didn’t need. I went back to the store to speak with the manager and he couldn’t have cared less. Said “well my people aren’t on commission so”. People reading this should know that sometimes it’s not called commission. It could be called spiffs, bonuses, or any other name so they can say that they don’t work on commission. Be hesitant to buy anything here before getting a non Apple second opinion
