  I have been to this vet office a handful of times and have had a good experiences. I have a now 8 month old puppy who is going to be a large dog. He sits at 43lbs. We had an appointment this morning and this visit was with Dr Alyssa Eidbo. She was nice but needs work on her bedside manner and should be better equipped to deal with all kinds of dogs. She was getting upset and put off when he jumped as she baby talked him. When he gets excited he jumps. I told her he just needs a moment to calm himself. After a few minutes he was laying down. She threw training at me and suggested having him meet more people. Just throwing training and recommendations at people doesn’t solve the problem, it starts with knowing how to interact with dogs and the best methods to teach them. My dog is a puppy, large, and is doing well in training but that is a controlled environment not a vet office. He does need more practice esp with him being large and this would have been a great training moment. She needs more experience with all dogs and be a better resource for offering teaching and support being a veterinarian.

  soooooo overpriced - $165 for tick and fecal exam. My dog didn't have any ticks. They recommend every possible test for my 5 years old dog, that is eating fine, playing, active, happy..... I came for routine exam and update few shoots, and will need 10 credit cards to pay everything they recommended .

  We had been taking my both my dogs here since they were newborn puppies but in 2016 when my dog developed a cough and stopped eating we took him here for a check up, the male vet whose name I can't even remember now was very condescending and acted like it wasn't a big deal and flicked my dogs ear. Anyway he essentially said that there was nothing wrong with my dog and sold us some over priced medicine to get rid of the cough... A week later my dog couldn't walk anymore and we rushed him to the emergency vet clinic where he passed away over night. The vet at the emergency clinic even told us that this could've been prevented if the vet we had taken him to previously had done a more thorough check up. We were charged atleast $600 dollars to be told there was nothing wrong with my dog and sold medicine that he didn't need. I will never take any of my animals to another VCA, they deserve better than that.
