What a mess. The employees are rude. The entire process is a jumbled mess. And why does it take 1 hour to order a replacement wallet that’s falling apart?

There are many employees welcoming guests for the first time, but it seems that the number of employees who actually serve and sell products is too small. Many employees greeted the initial customer, told them to wait, did nothing, and just stared at the entrance. However, it seems uncomfortable to wait too long for staff who actually treat customers.

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the service I received at Apple Mall of Georgia, located at 3333 Buford Drive, Buford, GA 30519.
I brought my phone in for a cracked front screen replacement. After waiting nearly two hours for the device to be processed, I was informed that the store would not perform the screen repair and would only offer a full device replacement. This decision was based solely on my earlier statement that there might be liquid damage.
I requested that the technicians inspect the phone and check the liquid contact indicators before making a determination. However, they refused to open or assess the device and instead relied entirely on my comment without performing any technical evaluation.
For clarity, my phone is covered by AppleCare+, and I fully understood that if liquid damage were found during Apple's inspection, I would be responsible for the applicable higher deductible. My complaint is not about the potential cost of the repair or replacement. Rather, it is about the fact that the store refused to inspect the device and instead made a service decision based solely on my statement without verifying the phone's actual condition.
During the interaction, I spoke with three different representatives before the store manager became involved. The manager informed me that they would not service my phone because I had mentioned the possibility of liquid damage. When I again requested that the phone be inspected, she responded with an unprofessional and dismissive attitude, stating that I was "not being compliant" and suggesting that I visit another Apple Store instead.
The staff also suggested sending the phone to Apple's repair center. However, when I agreed to that option, they refused to process the repair entirely, stating that the only service they would provide was a full device replacement. If I declined the replacement, I was told I could simply leave.
I do not know the manager's name, but she was an African woman. I believe this incident reflects poor customer service and a failure to follow proper technical procedures. Apple technicians should make repair decisions based on a technical inspection of the device, not solely on a customer's statement regarding a possible issue.
I have already contacted an Apple Senior Advisor and requested that this complaint be formally documented. As a loyal Apple customer for over 20 years, I have generally expected a high standard of service. While previous service visits have not always been perfect, this experience was by far the most disappointing. The manager's attitude was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, and I do not believe this reflects the level of customer service Apple strives to provide.
I also question whether the approaching store closing time influenced the decision. I arrived before the stated service cutoff time of 7:20 PM and was told my phone would be accepted for service if I checked in before then, which I did. Regardless, refusing to inspect my device and denying service based solely on my statement was unacceptable.
I respectfully request that Apple investigate this incident, review the conduct of the store manager and staff involved, and ensure that repair decisions are made based on proper technical evaluation rather than assumptions. I hope appropriate action is taken to prevent other customers from having a similar experience.

Unfortunately, my experience at this store was very disappointing. The sales representative showed no interest in providing real assistance or helping me find the right product. Their attitude was indifferent and unprofessional.
What surprised me the most was that, when I asked about a phone, the representative said, “In my opinion, I wouldn’t buy that phone.” If you work for a brand, your job is to understand the customer’s needs, explain the pros and cons of each product, and provide helpful guidance—not discourage customers from buying the very products your company sells without offering any meaningful explanation or alternative.
I’m actually a big fan of this brand, which made the experience even more disappointing. A great brand deserves employees who genuinely care about helping customers.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this store. I sincerely hope the company invests more in customer service training, because the quality of the service did not reflect the quality of the brand. A real qualification could be -5.
