I ordered a car stereo for my truck from Bestbuy online I was able to setup an appointment as well. On the day of my installation I was told that they no longer had an installer and that I would have to drive to Columbia SC for installation. I couldn’t believe that this (manager)was telling me this so I quickly asked for someone that she reports to and she told me that her manager was out of the store. I asked for that managers name and number she gave me a card a number for cooperate she even circled the number for special effects. I then asked her why would I have to call a toll free number to reach a local manager she said this was the only number she had for him. I knew that was a lie and I said so if you have an issue in the store like this one how do you contact him? This lady (manager)told me she has to call the number on the card. I was upset about this I knew this was a lie so I asked for her to refund my money on the spot she did and I began speaking to other members of her team as she walked away. I found out that the manager was as still in the store and I was able to get his attention. He apologized that they didn’t have a installer but said I could go to Columbia to have it completed at their store there. I let him know that I wouldn’t be going to Columbia and I let him know that his team member told me I had to contact cooperate to contact him. He then started a song and dance to say he doesn’t have a number but only a email. I can’t understand why they chose to treat me this way I wasn’t ever told that they didn’t have someone that could install the system. I think they should update their website when it comes to installation and they should stop lying to people.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. I also with I would have read the reviews on here in the last couple weeks. We purchased a TV close to closing last night. The cashier literally pressured my husband into applying for the credit card. REFUSED to take no for an answer multiple times from us both. Then 2 guys loaded the TV onto our trailer and did not say a word to us otherwise. We ended up having to lay the TV down to transport it. Got it home, unboxed it and plugged it in and you can tell a corner of it has been dropped the way the damage was. We had 0 way of creating this damage. Husband went back in with it pretty much right after they opened and they said no they could not exchange it due to their policy. No one informed us of any policy and no one mentioned to not lay the TV flat. Their managers are RUDE and not considerate in any way said that their employees are highly trained. But yet I noticed another customer loading their TV flat in their truck and had to tell them I wouldn't do that because their employees again did not mention it. I asked for the GM's phone number and I get an 800 number that I have to go through prompts. AWFUL. I finely got Walter on the phone from Corporate and he was soooo nice even with me being somewhat rude because I was just so fed up and felt taken advantage of at the store. Walter got our exchange set up for us thankfully in a few weeks. Will update if that doesn't go well either. They will not be receiving another cent from me or my family. I'm not sure how this location is still open with the reviews on here.

1 star is too much for this place. Bought a $1,000 98” tv LAST NIGHT and sales team loaded it up but did NOT tell us it had to stay up right. Well tv is cracked immediately out of the box. Go back today, they declined my coverage because of the fact it was laid down (in the box). I also had to inform 2 other customers that laid theres down not to do so, because again. Sales staff did not inform them neither. Pitiful store and pitiful management and staff.

Not sure if managers need re-training when it pertains to dealing with customers but BESTBUY needs to get it together! This is supposed to be the tech land, the best place to purchase electronics and the warranty guarantee 💯 for the products when we purchase that as a customer. THAT'S WHY WE BOUGHT THE WARRANTY! Why then do you have supervisors in that position acting as if they don't know basic customer service and how to handle simply changing out the device?! I have purchased my televisions from here, my children's tablets, gaming systems and accessories as well as Legos, phones and home appliances, ETC! Y'ALL NOT CHEAP! SO I EXPECT EXCELLENT SERVICE WHEN I'M HAVING AN ISSUE WITH ONE OF MY DEVICES THAT I PURCHASED THAT'S COVERED UNDER THAT WARRANTY. NOT TO HAVE TO ARGUE WITH MANAGERS ABOUT IT FOR 30-45MINS ...

I wish I could give this store a zero. This is by far the WORST Best Buy that I've ever encountered. I took my son's computer to the Geek Squad to be repaired. We took the laptop and charger. Computer comes back from repair with no charger. To try to make this "right", the tech tells me that his manager tells him, "To grab one from the back as a replacement." I refused the charger since that wasn't the charger that we brought in with the computer. Then I'm told that in order for me to get the charger back, they would have to send the laptop back to the company that repaired it to get the charger back. I refused that as well and suggested that they send just send an email with the computer description and order to get it back. I was told, it was being handled and put in an "escalated" status. I waited and waited, with no follow-up. I called back to check the status and was told that, they would have to follow-up because the repair company was closed on Fridays. Again, I'm in another holding pattern. I call back because I'm still in the dark about what's going on with the computer. I speak to a "manager" that tells me something just to get me off the phone with no follow-up plan of action, AGAIN. Finallly, I go to the store and talk to the same "manager" with no plan and am given another story about them having to go through footage. At this point, I suggest that we come up with some type of follow-up plan because I don't feel like as the customer, I should have to keep making all the effort, after all, my is lost. I finally get a call back telling me that they have a "replacement charger" for me. Lo and behold, the charger doesn't even fit my son's laptop. All of this after yet another, "manager" tells me a story about how my charger isn't made anymore and the charger that I was given will fit the computer. They had to go open of the computers to get the charger out that box because they couldn't get it from anywhere else. All that and I still had to end up personally replacing my son's charger and Best Buy Augusta isn't being held responsible because they lack there of.
I advise any customer that takes their electronics here for repair, hold on to your chargers because if they have to send them off, you will NEVER see that charger again. That or you'll get the run around from the "managers" about doing the best they can to replace them.
