As a first time cat owner I was very nervous about taking my rescue cat to the vet. I was happy to see Gay pride flags when I walked in to the building. The vet tech came in promptly. My vet answered all my questions and gave great recommendations. Both Starr and Dr. Hayes made me and Bootsy feel so comfortable. I felt very heard and like Bootsy was in great hands. Thank you!!!!

I love this place and the staff, been going here for years. But there’s one staff member, Janei I think, who was utterly rude to me and dismissed me entirely. I’ve never had issues here ever but she really angered me so much I had to write about her. Besides that woman, this place is a great vet! Very accommodating

I love this VCA location, wonderful vets and staff! I've seen Dr. Floyd and Dr. Hayes with my cats, and I genuinely feel like they both pay such close attention to detail and provide such well-rounded medical care. In fact everyone I've interacted with here has been great, from the reception desk to vet techs and the pharmacy staff. And they have very convenient hours compared to other vets. Dr. Floyd is my primary vet, and she's amazing. She noticed early symptoms of neurological FIP in one of my cats, before I knew anything serious was off. In fact I came in thinking he was probably just losing weight because my other cat was stealing his food, but Dr. Floyd made it clear to me that she was concerned about something more serious. He started to rapidly decline within days from then, but her catching things early helped him get on meds asap and now he's a healthy weight and full of energy. Because I liked her so much, I recently brought my other 2 cats to her for their annual checkup. I had told a different vet (not at VCA) multiple times over the past 2 years that my cat was coughing a lot and even specifically asked if it could be asthma. That other vet brushed it off as hairballs and had me give her a laxative to help. I mentioned it to Dr. Floyd this time around, and she said that based on what I was describing it didn't sound like hairballs and she was worried it could be asthma or something else. We did a chest x-ray and indeed my cat was diagnosed with moderate to severe asthma and we're starting steroids and an inhaler. I feel bad my cat was untreated for 2 years but I'm so glad we can get her proper treatments moving forward. I could go on and on, but basically if you want vets/staff who listen carefully to your concerns and also have a sharp eye for when something is serious and should be looked into, come here! They strike the perfect balance of not recommending any unnecessary testing/procedures, but knowing when something really is concerning and needs to be taken seriously.
