  My boyfriend spent $970 on a monitor, Ergo keyboard, mouse pad, wireless mouse, monitor mount, and Asus hard drive for a home office at a second residence. He was helped by a sales associate not knowing really where to start. He made it very clear what he needed and for what. He also made it clear verbally and by his physical appearance (he's 6'3" tall) that the monitor mount needed to be tall enough for a standing, moving height desk. We finally got it hooked up a few weeks later and the monitor mount was not tall enough. Upon our return to Athens, we tried to return the mount to the Athens store and were initially told we'd get a store credit and to look for another one. Of course, there was no selection. Customer service then told us it was outside the 15 day return/exchange policy, and, therefore, we are sorry. It was a $45 monitor mount in the original packaging which could have been resold. Amazon would have certainly taken it back. This disappointing experience will certainly keep us away from Best Buy for some time.

  This place scammed me out of $750. As I was trying to repair my laptop, they said that instead of a repair I should get a new laptop and did not give a repair quote or option. Then when looking at a new laptop they charged me $250 extra with their memberships convincing me that it would pay for itself with their price match feature. Then when the price actually did drop, I went to the store and they said they could not help me and sent me online to their AI chat bot that also couldn’t help. I eventually got to an agent over text who refused to explain the membership I was sold or help me with the price match. Do not go here. They scam you out of your money.

  Management/corporate seems overbaring and abusive. The workers themselves are kind, educated, and helpful. Corporate and/or management seriously need to take it easy on these people, it creates a very uncomfortable enviornment to shop in knowing the worker helping me is afraid of losing their job despite being a genuine saint. Weird corporate vibes.
