  I am devastated by what happened to my cat after his visit to VCA Cabrera Animal Hospital. I brought my cat, to this hospital for an examination and a Solensia injection. He was able to walk when he arrived at the hospital. After returning home from this appointment, he was unable to stand or walk and was dragging his hind legs. Because of the sudden and dramatic change in his condition, I took him to an emergency hospital, where X-rays revealed multiple pelvic fractures. The independent radiology report specifically states that the fracture involving the left acetabulum has “sharp margins that are very likely recent” and that the other fractures involving the left ischium and likely the left pubis are “likely associated with recent trauma as well.” The radiologist further concluded that these pelvic fractures are likely responsible for his current clinical signs. My cat is now unable to walk independently. He requires pain medication, strict confinement and assistance with basic needs, and I am having to pursue additional veterinary and orthopedic care. I am extremely concerned about what occurred during his examination and handling at this hospital. A cat who walked into the clinic came home unable to stand, and an emergency evaluation immediately afterward documented multiple fractures considered very likely recent. This has been an incredibly distressing experience, and I believe other pet owners should be aware of what happened to my cat.

  Dr. Valentin is the most magnificent veterinarian I have ever met! This location is the gem of Miami, due to her. My brother and I have been coming to this office for 11 wonderful years. On the few occasions that we have had emergencies, Dr. Valentin herself has spoken to us on the phone, and consoled and healed our Maltese, and us, expertly. Dr. Valentine is always so welcoming, caring, kind, considerate. She always remembers details about our dog, and our personal lives. She truly has a gift for bringing out the best in animals and people. We are so grateful to have met someone whose profession, clearly chose them!

  My girl had a issue with her hip no prior problems before freak out. Found out about this place on line specialist in hip and leg ext. Got there immediately when in to the exam room.assiistant came so happened she loves chiwawa made feel relax.Dr Sandra came immediately new the issue other places needs x ray neds that needs this not here as first time walk in no charge for first visit. When do you see that now days they care about your dog not a money making machine that takes advantage of your situation. They gave some meds injection had other experience before not here price amazing was expecting twice the amount they even cut her nails back leg no charge. Amazing place honest people that care.dont take advantage of you.thankk you guys.my joli doing great.
