    I purchased a Geek Squad Protection Plan specifically to avoid situations like this, yet here I am after only two years of ownership dealing with a completely defective appliance and no meaningful resolution. Over the past month, Geek Squad has sent three different technicians to my home. Each technician provided a different diagnosis, none of them fixed the problem, and no one appears to know what is actually wrong with the unit. When I contacted Geek Squad to escalate the matter, the representative agreed that the situation was unacceptable and acknowledged that customers should not have to endure multiple failed repair attempts. Despite that acknowledgment, I was told I must wait for a fourth technician visit scheduled more than a month later before a replacement can even be considered. What is the purpose of paying for a 5-year protection plan if customers are still forced through endless repair attempts, conflicting diagnoses, and excessive delays? At this point, it feels like the protection plan is protecting Best Buy from replacing defective products rather than protecting customers. The most frustrating part is that a replacement review cannot even begin until another technician comes out, despite three prior failed attempts and a repair history that clearly demonstrates this issue has not been resolved. I've spent countless hours scheduling appointments, waiting at home for technicians, and repeating the same story over and over. This is not the level of service I expected from Best Buy or Geek Squad. I purchased the protection plan for peace of mind. Instead, I've experienced frustration, delays, and a complete lack of accountability.

    Ordered a TV with install. I was NO SHOWED and NO CALLED. Verified appointment 3 times and all said that they were still going to show up and they never did despite taking the day off of work for the appointment. They farmed out the install to a company called Manada. Can't talk to ANYONE at the store. Number goes to "customer support". When asking to speak with someone at the store they say you have to go there. Useless to use service! No wonder retail is dying. They forgot how to do customer service!
