  Incident #2: Mamager Ed , IN STORE with his own two eyes saw that I have issues with Cricket getting through to 611. I tried to remove my autopsy on Wednesday, as Im moving to another company. Calls and website attempts WOULD NOT WORK. My phine svc was horrendous as I troed tocuse Cricket service while working. In store even, couldn't get a hold of an agent. Then they took my autopay and wont come to the line to process my refund. Regretting returning to Cricket as they waste time, aren't accountable and fail in communications with customer service. (Not Ed, in store: he's terrific.) Think it through carefully before joining the Cricket family. Some risks are NOT WORTH TAKING!!! ------ Incident #1: In spite It was a Wednesday afternoon. We had a phone service emergency (small business owners) and could not do a bunch of running around to comparison shop. Just needed the quick fix. Entered Cricket 420pm to perform a simple change the system was denying me. As a DoorDasher I never should have been on plan A, but rather really need plan B, and was not successful enacting the change through the app. Waited 5 mins behind two ladies ahead of me, which was an acceptable enough wait time. A more heavily melanated man walked in several minutes afterward, behind me. The agent on duty (learned later she had erroneously) assumed the man was in to simply amd instantly pay his bill. She asked me whether I'd mind if she were to serve him AHEAD of me. Since she works there and claimed my task was going to be lengthy (it wasn't: phone agent accomplished it in 60 seconds) I agreed - however as it turned out he was NOT there to simply pay his bill. I occupied myself by fiddling through my receipts waiting patently, learning that his service wasn't even active and she had not realized this at the outset. She proceeded with the "enroll new customer" schpiel: everything from comparing and contrasting plans, to tinkering with devices and all that goes with catering to a new enrollee. Naturally I questioned why she hadn't pivoted back to ME, when she had clearly misassessed his purpose, when it became evident he wasnt a quick bill pay. She declined to serve me. I calmly explained that such biases leads one to question whether Cricket is the right company to meet a family's and businesses communication and connectivity needs. She told me if I didn't like it I could call 611 to have them disconnect my service. She wouldn't give her name. She wasn't wearing her name tag. When I dialed 611 in the air conditioned store, she tolerated that for a few moments : until she didn't. She proceeded to try to eject me from the store and told me if I didn't remove myself instantly her private security (local police) WOULD and I would be "tresspassed." And if I didn't agree with her handling, I could contact the manager at some later opportunity. It took 611 a moment to make the modification to the plan. But her unprofessional and incompetent (inability to triage, admit fault and fix her mistakes, and escalation rather than take responsibility and commit to deescalation) behavior is going down on her permanent record with the company. Please bring Stephanie back. Marisabel and Griselda know their stuff. So sorry to hear you lost Angel - he was also a star. Ordinarily in-store agents have provided wonderful in-store experiences. It needs to be posted on the website who is on duty at any given time so that folks know when to, and when not to bother showing up for professional and competent assistance. Manager, Eddie, thank you for top tier attentive addressing of our concerns. Folks presenting at local businesses for routine matters should not have to worry that hostility, escalation and melanin-related discrimination will be encountered, but rather objective fairness and skillful handling. 5 stars for Eddie (always knows his stuff and makes sure what needs to be done is done)and keep up the good work crew!

  Angel was fantastic! My fiance and I needed some help replacing my phone due to water damage and not only was he very patient, he was also very nice to talk to and helped us out so quickly! He is very knowledable and we had no issues at all!
