  Called and ask if i can purchase a rabies tag at that location and was told (and i quote) "yes we do but that takes about 10 minutes to do so you would have to come another day" so i asked what about if i came in later on in the day since they close at 7:30. The lady said "im by myself today and that takes 10 minutes so its best to come another day".... why would you say it takes only 10 minutes but you cant let me buy the tag

  We want to thank Dr. Robin Kuhn. She has been our family vet for over 30 years. Her dedication for taking care of our pets over the years is more than I could have every hope for. I brought our dog in for an emergency last week and she referred us to VCA ER in Hollywood for the emergency treatment he needed. When we got there they had our dog information and took him back asap. She kept in touch with me during that time. Thank goodness our dog, Duke is doing great. Thank you Dr. Kuhn for alway treating our furry babies like they were your furbabies.

  I had to chase them down for lab results for my 17 year old cat. One week, no call. I would call them, "the doctor will call you back". They did not. Finally refused to hang up the phone and waited until someone could help me. They did, but every time I had a question, it was back on hold so that they could go ask the doctor. Took about 30 minutes. During the call, I told them how the cat was peeing more blood. They told me to bring in a sample to check it. I was working so my mother took it for me. I got an email and text same day about payment, but I was confused and ignore it. I figured if it really was payment they would call and confirm. But why didn't they charge my mother when she dropped it off? A week later, no call. Finally decide to call, "the doctor will call you back". No call. the next day I called back, and someone finally helped me. They told me THEY DID NOT EVEN SEND THE URINE TO BE TESTED because there was no payment and they "couldn't reach [me]". There was no call, no email, no text, except the day the urine got dropped off. They would need a new sample to send it to get tested. I could do that, but do I want to? Not really. Not if I have to call them every single day to get some answers. I AM LIVID! She is 17 years old! KNOWN kidney problems! And now peeing blood, yet no one thought it important to reach out. I really don't know what happened. A couple years ago they were on top of everything, calls 2-3 days after testing. They saved her. She was thriving, I was over the moon. But now? Who knows. I am very upset. I'm crying. My cat is old. We need help and we're not getting it. The staff is very nice but unfortunately, I will not be going back.

  I can’t say enough wonderful things about Valerie. My nine-year-old Pomeranian needed a new groomer because he can be a bit reactive during grooming. Our previous groomer, who we loved, recommended Valerie since her grooming space is quieter and more suitable for him. I was honestly very nervous about trying someone new. In the past, my little boy had a stroke after being groomed by a mobile groomer, so finding someone gentle, patient, and attentive was incredibly important to me. From the very first phone call, VCA staff and Valerie were kind, understanding, and truly attentive to my dog’s specific needs. She asked thoughtful questions and took the time to understand his history and temperament. When I look for a groomer, I look for someone who genuinely cares about the small details and Valerie absolutely does. She is one of the sweetest people you’ll meet, and it’s clear she truly loves and respects animals. As a protective pet owner, I’ve often felt like I’d rather give my Pomeranian a choppy at-home haircut than risk bringing him somewhere he might be stressed or mishandled. With Valerie, I feel completely comfortable and confident that he’s in caring hands. Thank you, Valerie, for treating my senior pup with so much patience and compassion. 1000 out of 10 stars for VCA Pet Hospital grooming- 1000 Valerie!
