- JTJimmy TaylorJul 30, 20211.0Ordered $600 worth of car audio equipment to install in my jeep and was told that installation would be a month later, so I started to do it myself. I noticed the wiring harness they ordered was wrong from my car as I have 8 channels worth of speakers and the one ordered was for 4channels. Went back to ask for a new one and was told by a man from geek squad that the wiring harness was right and I was doing it wrong. I then asked if he wanted to come out to my car and show me what was wrong (I had driven there with the whole dash opened up since I was installing the new radio) he then said no. I then started to question him how they would install it then since I explained to him I have oem tweeters and he said splice the wires and plug them into the front speakers. I then explained that this would ruin the wiring and then explained how the harnes they ordered me was wrong and asked if he could join me at the car so I could show Him what I am talking about. This man insisted he was right and then told me I was wrong and in doing so was very insulting.
